I've given this location so many chances because it is the closest to us but have had zero good experiences.
Every single time I have ordered ahead via the app I am told to park in front of the store at the drive thru - even when there is not another soul in line. Every time I am told to wait out front for my order I have waited a minimum of 15 minutes, up to 25 minutes. When we first moved here I ordered ahead and ordered Cinnabon delights. I got to the store to be told they only serve them at breakfast (ending at 1030) at this location, but they also couldn't deduct it from my purchase total. I went another time at 1015 a few weeks later and ordered at the drive thru and was told they only serve them at breakfast which ends at 10. Today I got a bag of food that wasn't mine at 1130 and there were Cinnabons in there?! Multiple times I have had my drink switched for another and not been told until they bring me the order they were out of what I'd asked for. More than once I've been given a different size (smaller) than what i paid for. Twice entire drink orders were missing. Several times I have ordered cinnamom twists and they have been left out of the bag. On several occasions food has not been made to order - customized and paid more for additions to items for them to not be added to the product. Crunchwraps never seem to have any meat in them. Similarly, many items seem "empty" compared to what we get at other locations. Today I ordered ahead and went to the drivethru (empty). I was told to go wait out front. No one else was waiting there. 5ish minutes later a couple other cars pull in. 15 minutes later someone comes out with food that at a quick glance looks like my order, and the app had just alerted me my food was done. It's pouring rain and my baby has been screaming for 5 minutes because the ordeal has taken so long. I roll my window down and between the rain and the baby it sounds like the employee says my name (my name is NEVER pronounced correct - no big deal, I've accepted it). The employee holds out the tray with a bag and then the drinks and I mentioned they don't look like my drinks and she repeats the name again louder, and it was a name that is close to mine. I apologized and she is clearly mad saying she can't take anything back now and asks me to rip the receipt off the bag now in my car. I do and she leaves. She comes back out several minutes later and I'm in the backseat trying to console the baby and so I get out of the car and back into my seat and take my order. I apologize again, but it was pretty obvious it fell on deaf emotions.
In general, I know this review is just a drop in the bucket because this location is popular given that there are only 2 in the area. We personally won't be back. Does that affect their bottom line? Not at all. But someone out there might have experienced some of the things mentioned above or want to avoid a...
Read moreThis is the first time that I’ve been to this Taco Bell, i’ve been a regular customer at Taco Bell for years and I’ve also worked in multiple fast food industries and was a manager at multiple locations. I asked for fresh Cinnabon‘s cooked crispy. They proceeded to tell me that it was going to be a 20 minute wait after I told them I would wait. They asked me to come inside. The whole I believe to be manager “Dontez G”, gave me a passive aggressive attitude about the situation. They had the audacity to hand me luke warm Cinnabon’s that were cooked regular. Don’t worry. I’ll be calling the corporate number tomorrow for making me wait 35 minutes for Cinnabon’s that take five minutes to cook.
Edit:: Immediately after having such horrible service at the S. Salisbury blvd location, I went to the one in pocomoke and asked for the same exact thing in the drive thru, took less than 3 minutes to cook me fresh and cooked a little extra crispy Cinnabons. The lady in the drive thru was super helpful and apologized a million times for the other one saying they hear horrible things about the location I just came from. Thank you...
Read moreI don't have any photos, because the food LOOKED fine and dandy, and for the most part, it was. But several of us in my family have complained about their bean burritos being very dry, so we all have to add in sour cream to moisten up the beans and make them palatable.
You'd think they'd add the sour cream all down the length of the burritos so every bite gets a hit, right? Nope. It's like it's an afterthought, and the wrapper gets reopened, and then a decent-ish bit of a squeeze gets squozen in the middle and goes nowhere else. Highly annoying for a restaurant that makes EACH thing to order.
Finally, the spiciness of their nacho cheese sauce is extremely irregular and unpredictable. I usually take a chance and add it to my chicken chalupas because cheese is life, and when it's not spicy at all or very low on the spicy side, that's perfect for me. On the other hand, it's a good thing I always carry my EPI-PEN, because perhaps I'm not so smart in suddenly expecting consistency, and wham! There goes my tongue blowing up almost before my chalupa is f fully unwrapped. And now I don't get to eat anything. 😕 Can we...
