Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Salisbury

We chose to do the drive thru since the store was roped and sectioned off. We didn't want to bother with the hassle of parking and not be able to go inside. When we pulled to the speaker the auto system said they were closed then about 16 seconds later a voice greets us how can we help you. We asked about what comes on the #5 Kickin Chicken Sandwich, we heard the order takers response back so we said can we just get a plain chicken sandwich add pickles with fries and a strawberry lemonade. At this point we were ordering something totally different from the #5! We pull up to the window and there is an employee standing outside of the window, which is a big safety concern for me because no one taking the order instructed us to proceed with caution as they have a worker at the window to assist in giving the orders and receiving the payments as there parking lot was under some construction so you couldn't pull forward after leaving the window. We get our food and pull off, we check our food at the bottom of the parking lot and it's the kickin Chicken 3 little baby fingerz with pickles on toast. By the way it's not what we ordered. We then have to turn around go back around the drive through and tell them what happened. So the second time they got it right. Oh my goodness!!! I’ve always loved their kickin’ chicken sandwich but today my husband and I both ordered out of our norm an couldn’t be happier!!! We both got grilled chicken house salads. I didn’t realize it came with a slice of Texas toast each already so I got a basket of toast an a side of fries as well. Total was $20.98 When I brought it home mentioned the price my hubby was a little put off... until he seen the salad!!! GREAT portion for the price for sure! And not just a bunch of lettuce actually had a good amount of each item it lists. The chicken was tender And delicious for sure! The cucumber an tomato we’re all crisp and fresh. Due to Covid I believe only drive thru was open at this location. So I can not comment of inside the facility but the drive thru personnel were quick and polite. It was a quick process for typical fast food, two cars ahead of me to order. I paid, got food and left was less that 7 minutes!!! Only thing is we both needed a bit more ranch but we know for next time! Oh I also asked for extra tomatoes on my salad and seen there wasn’t a charge and there was definitely a lot more than his salad....

I have visited this zaxbys a few times because it is very close to my job. Each time the customer service has been very dissatisfactory. I visited again today 1/17/19 and last week, last week was so bad that I submitted the Guest Satisfaction Survey. Jennifer who served me last week and today has exhibited extremely poor customer service both times. Today I was told that she is the manager and that was disheartening to have a manager leading with poor service. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable during my visit. I was not greeted and she displayed an attitude with me as if I personally did something to her. I understand bad days happen at work but for this poor service to be exhibited 2 times in a row for my visists, I won’t ever be giving me money or time to this zaxbys again.
