Tried this place out for the first time today based off of reviews. The Birilla tacos were awesome! The fajitas were pretty much the standard fajitas, but with corn tortillas and avocado slices instead of guacamole. They do not serve chips and salsa, but we had enough food we didn't miss them. They brought out 3 different types of sauce, a spicy red one, a Verde that was a bit more acidic, and another that I didn't try but the wife enjoyed. Additionally they brought out a cup full of onions in some kind of juice with habanero peppers that was awesome when added to the food. The bottles for the sauces dirty. The vegetables translucent from being stored cold with no protection. Chips were stale. Table salsa was good. The verde and roja sauces where ok. I could tell the bottle hadn't been emptied and filled new in a while. Shook the red sauce bottle and it exploded because the sauce is old and acidic. I ordered a steak torta and my son carne asada tacos. Their "steak" is chuck roast. Not flank or even skirt. Overall I give it a 2.5 There are many other better spots in Salisbury for Mexican food. Taco bell is better...
Read moreStopped here with some buddies to get some tacos. Seating was readily available and we were served very quickly. I ordered 4 Birria tacos along with some sides which came out fantastic! I haven't had tacos this authentic since traveling to El Paso a few years ago. Everything from the tortillas to the beans were very fresh. Service was excellent and prices were very reasonable. Overall very satisfied with my lunch and happy to stop by here again...
