KFC — Restaurant in Salisbury

Not bad for a quick chicken trip. Lot of things have changed since the old colonel left the building. While they say they're still a lot like the old way in many ways they're not. They used to hand do a lot of stuff right there at the restaurants. However corporate decided to make sure certain items like tater wedges.etc are done in a big processing center. They are still good but not as good as the fresh ones that used to do at the restaurant. To be fair most of the corporate chicken places are leaving little to chance and are doing things in a process manner. The $5 fill ups are quite good. They also include beverage. This is definitely a good money saver for family on the go. However if you go off the fill ups in order something off the menu it can be costly. Ordering a chicken strip combo in a five count with two sides can run you ten bucks when you order a drink. That is pretty high. For just chicken strips. However I will say they're probably the tastiest chicken strips in the business. They are lightly breaded like their chicken and are very tender and have all white meat. Overall this is a cool place to go for a quick chicken fix. I have always felt like their sides or a little small . But that is been a continuous problem with KFC . I feel like they can increase the size of their portions for sides definitely. This particular location has always had good management. The nice young man that runs this place during the daytime has been here I know at least 5 years. It makes a difference the place seems clean and consistent. After along days work I decided to get my family dinner. I ordered two spicy chicken meals w fries w tropical passion lemonade . Also two ten piece apple popper pies and a 12 count nugget meal w fries honey mustard and kfc sauce w a tropical passion lemonade. My order total was 43 dollars and some change . I was pulled for 15 mins . The food I recieved was hot I’ll give them credit. But my nuggets weren’t in the bag after driving home . So what am I to eat. I drove back got to the speaker and told them what I was missing. The cashier told me the manger said she put the in the bottom of the bag . I told them I’ll put to the window so she can check I have absolutely no reason to lie about nuggets for 8 dollars when I spent 43. Once approaching the window the manger refused to check the bag . Told me pretty much as a customer I was a liar . The cashier laughing like it’s funny . I told her I should ask for a refund . Since I’m accused of lying about nuggets .

I have filled a official complaint w 1800-call-kfc But this generation of mangers and cashiers have to be stopped . Maybe even re trained this is not customer service standards. KFC on Mooresville rd in Salisbury nc please...

This is by far the worst KFC I have ever been to. After ordering my chicken in the drive though they told me I would have to wait 3 mins in order to get my crispy chicken. I pulled up as they asked me to and waited for 20 mins and nobody came out to bring me the food. It was very cold outside so I pulled back around through the drive through and asked what was taking so long and that I was still waiting for my food. They told me to pull up front again and they would bring it out to me, so I waited again. After 10 more minutes nobody came so I went inside with my receipt and asked for a refund. Not only did they not apologize for the wait, but they cashier handed me a 20 dollar bill and expected me to make the change for the refund. I didn't get any food and I never even got a sorry, this is not only the worst experience I have had at KFC but also the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I hope no one has to go through what I did, because of this I didn't even have time to make my family dinner before having...
