Juice Life — Restaurant in Salisbury

We were headed home from Charlotte and it was getting to be lunch time. I had my daughter research some places and she suggested Juice Life. I'm so glad she did. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking spots.

We walked inside and was welcomed in. They have a hardworking crew as they were very busy! We noticed that they also have a drive thru as well which is pretty cool! When we walked in, the vibe was energetic yet peaceful.. We looked around and the place was airy, bright and spacious.

We asked Ashland for some samples of juice and milk flavors. I also asked her opinion on 2 smoothies that looked really good. She is a hard worker, helpful and friendly!

My daughter ordered the Keto Strawberry Chia Smoothie and I ordered the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Smoothie per Ashland's suggestion. We also got some bottled beet this!, blue majik and fruit of the spirit juices and dragon berry mylk.

We got our smoothies, sat down and tried our smoothies. They were absolutely delicious!!! Not sure if they have larger sizes for the cups but I would definitely order the larger size!

As we were heading out, we looked around to see where to put our trash. I saw Cacy and asked her where to put the tray. She quickly took the tray and asked how everything was. I told her, with a smile, I hated every minute of it because it was so good and now it's gone.

I am new to the area from out of state and thought this would be something new and refreshing for me to try while passing through to go visit local acquaintances. I will not complain about the matcha because it was okay (not my favorite, but not the worst) however I went through reviews and decided to give it a try because of the “warm” greetings/staff and good quality I read about. They must’ve been all out of warm greetings when I arrived which was disheartening. I stood there for a few minutes confused about what to try completely ignored by staff and then was asked “are you gonna order something” while other patrons were greeted with conversation and warm smiles. I asked a few questions about the menu and was responded to as if the questions I asked I should’ve already knew my own answers too. I DID NOT feel welcomed and it really didn’t feel like a racially inclusive space. I won’t be spending money there anymore! I felt invisible and as if I was an annoyance for even coming in. Imagine walking into a place with high hopes just to be made to feel like you don’t belong in that space. Thank you for making me feel small and unwanted in Juice Life. The other patrons were treated kindly though and were smiled at, and questions answered pleasantly! So if you don’t look like me, you will LOVE all that Juice Life...
