Phenomenal food. Two Calzones and an Oreo bread disc(🤷♂️I don't know what pastry to call it) for just $20 on door dash premium. It is an insane deal, all of that for just $2 more than one regular combo at Jimmy Johns.
When you get one Calzones , you get two of the wedges that you see in the photos. The seasoning on the crust is a nice blend of Italian spices, and they are very liberal with the amount of toppings that they put in. So much so that occasionally, the cheese inside isn't quite all of the way melted. But a quick trip in the oven at 350° for 5-10 minutes fixes that right up.
The oreo? As for the circle of magic itself; no notes. The only thing that could make it better is the option to get a side of the drizzle that is over the top. Or something marshmallow to dip in.
Seeing pickles(not a fan) of all things on pizza as the first photo you see is rather off-putting, though. If not for that, I would have given this place a shot sooner!
I can't wait to try more things off of their menu, and I recommend you do too!
(I have only ordered delivery, so I can't fairly rate service and atmosphere. But I also know the algorithm can be harsh, hence the 4's.)

Read moreI was confused how to order due to the complexity of the multi purpose location called “Salt lake city eats” and the contraption of the waiting room setup that inside. At first I rang the doorbell to go in but someone told me I could just open the door. Lucky me. There were signs but I asked the person behind a counter inside this contraption like place if she knew my order name, only to be alerted by a person behind me that I was making three people stand in line waiting for me to move because I think they were door dashers. I moved to the center of the room where I waited by the large tablet screen, and the guy came out from the employees door and asked me for my order told me to use the big tablet screen where I was supposed to order for the pizza. He told me “Next time don’t call just order on the website”. If you do call you’ll still have to put the order in on the big screen. Like I said, I was confused and I only got a bit more frustrated that the guy told me I had to do it all over again. He still helped me do it. Also I asked for bbq chicken and got Hawaiian chicken. Rock creek pizza is the best pizza in the...
Read moreI actually don’t know how this place manages to be so cheap and SO good at the same time.
I can’t think of a better calzone in the valley, so much filling and the sauce is great. Cheese bread is fantastic and a giant portion for a super reasonable price. I don’t think you’ll get better value for your money anywhere and the food is truly phenomenal.
I review a lot of pizza spots but rock creek is top three for me in the entire valley for sure. Hoping this place sticks around forever because I don’t know what I’d do without it after a 1 am party night. It’s truly become a staple and you’re supporting some really cool people in the community by coming here.
Bonus: everything reheats...
