KFC — Restaurant in San Angelo

I ordered using the app and Door dash brought me my order. It was missing 2 orders of fries,an order of nuggets that came with the spicy chicken sandwich meal and a medium Mt Dew. When I called the store I got nothing but pushback and rudeness. I was told if I came all the way across town they'd give me my food. Totally unacceptable as I ordered delivery for a reason. I called my amazing Dasher who said he'd go get the rest of my food and bring it to me. I called KFC back to let them know he was on his way and this person on the phone told me "I need to speak with my general manager and we have the right to refuse service,I'm reporting You! What ever happened to customer service? I will never ever get KFC in San Angelo again. Their food may be tasty but their customer service sucks. I've been in sales for over 40 years. When a customer is upset you do all you can to make it right because no customers means no profit. Next time the customer is right or the customer doesn't come to KFC. There's like what 10 chicken specific restaurants in San Angelo? If you worked for me I'd fire you and your shift manager in a heartbeat for treating a customer like you treated me. Telling me off saying you need to speak with your general manager instead of finding a resolution? I don't know your name and I don't care who you are. You're the face of KFC and have made your company and owner lose a very frequent customer. Great job. They did give the rest of my food to my Dasher and made it right but still. This Establishment is just about what you would expect from a KFC in San Angelo. It looks dirty on the inside, behind the counter you got cold food lying around on the countertops. Food that looks AGED in the warmer that you couldn’t pay me to eat based off the looks of it. I pulled up here after a TERRIBLE day and honestly I should have went to the “Wienerschnitzel” next door. I waited in the drive through for service as 2 more cars pulled up behind me. Nobody greeted me, nobody placed me on hold, nobody said a single word as I sat there for 10-15 minutes. I pulled around and came inside and the only reason I didn’t spaz on whoever was running this shift was because after I finally got to the counter after another 5-8 minute wait. The young lady working apologized for the wait profusely and offered pretty good customer service to make up for it. It was appreciated but obviously it didn’t take back the potential 20 minutes I had been waiting to place the order. While I was waiting for my order to be taken(before I was greeted by the polite young lady) I had a grown ass man walk up to the same computer he could take my order on and clock out . After receiving my food she again apologized profusely and asked if there was anything else she could do to make the experience better. I stopped by the drive through for dinner last night. I asked for a 3 Piece Combo Meal. I was advised that they did not have any white meat chicken, pot pies, coleslaw, corn, and a slew of other items.

I stated that I would take the 3 piece meal with dark meat and mashed potatoes. I was asked what my 2nd side choice would be. Since the menu was limited, I asked for Mac n cheese.

I was then told my total was almost $15 for the $10 meal. When I questioned the price difference, I was told it was due to ordering a second side.

I WAS ASKED WHAT 2ND SIDE I WANTED !!?

I advised them to remove the additionally priced second side since all I had ordered was a 3 piece meal combo.

I was told to pull around.

I get to the window and they hand me a drink. I ask if I had a choice of drink. The lady at the window advised me that “they” had put Pepsi as my drink. I asked who are “they.” She didn’t know.

Although I never order Pepsi, I took the drink and meal to my home (3-4 blocks away.)

I start eating the chicken and realize it had been under a heat lamp for quite some time. Quite a while. It was dry and some of the smaller parts were completely dehydrated -dried out like chicken jerky.

Terrible meal. Awful. Customer Service was an embarrassment, as well. All in all .. I give them one star...
