The 4 stars for service were for the young lady who took my order and assisted me at the window. She was GREAT. Professional, friendly, went the extra mile. She was the best thing about this visit. However, despite her efforts, the order was WRONG - AGAIN. I actually had to wait at the window while they made the chili cheese fries. STILL DONE WRONG!! WOW!! This happens at THIS LOCATION every time! No exaggeration. Part of the order was chili cheese fries WITH BACON and sour cream. Not hard. But they NEVER get it right. Last time it had jalepenos!! UGH. I specifically asked to be sure they were right this time due to the history of always being wrong. We live 10 minutes outside of town. Got home, NO BACON. Charged for it. Have the receipt. FRUSTRATED because tried to prevent it from happening AGAIN and it STILL DID. I called. I was VERY polite and explained what was wrong with the order, the precautions taken to assure it would be right this time and how it has been wrong every time. I was told to bring the fries back. I explained I live outside the city limits. I was told, it is their POLICY that the food must be returned. DUMB POLICY especially if YOU KNOW YOU made the order wrong!! I thought, WHAT? YOU made the mistake. The bacon was PAID for, but not received. I explained that I was not driving back to town and asked for the owner or corporate office contact information and was told, "You have to find it online." REALLY? I am sure you could provide this information. If YOU make a mistake, MAKE IT RIGHT and NOT at the expense or time of the customer. All the other food will be cold by the time they bring back what YOU got wrong. The Sherwood Way location will have our business from now on. RIDICULOUS. I never raised my voice or was ugly. I just stated the facts. I am very disappointed in how this location handles issues brought to their attention. I was texted a coupon from Der Wienerschnitzel one day around a month ago and although I had brought my lunch, the coupon enticed me to go there for lunch instead. Exactly what coupons and advertising are for. I went to this location and told them I was using an online coupon texted to me and I was told, " We do not accept that coupon here." I asked, "Do you have any other specials or other coupons I could use?" I was told, "Just the coupons online." I told them this was an online coupon that their business, Der Wienerschnitzel had sent to me via text!! Anyway, I left. Pulled a "U" turn in the drive through and left frustrated, an unhappy customer. Went back and ate the lunch I brought to work. Wasted half my lunch hour for nothing. We still went back. They are the closer location. We have given them chance after chance. If I were the owner, I would be making some serious changes or at the very least ramping up my customer service training for my employees. Without customers, YOU DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS or a JOB! Treat them better and fix YOUR mistakes. Better yet, PAY ATTENTION to the order and MAKE IT RIGHT the first time!! I am beginning to think this location doesn't really want...
Read moreNew review. Love this place but I absolutely abhor when they go out of their way to add onions, raw nasty onions, when I didn't ask for them. Just called, twice. Let it ring over 10 times both times and no answer. Looks like McDs across the street will be getting my business. Love y'all but between the onions and not answering the phone I'm out. Update: went back tonight, after I had a day to cool down. Asked the staff if the #1 comes with onions. Said no. I said last night and again a few weeks ago that mine was covered in onions. In fact it had so many I threw it in the trash and went to McDs across the street. She asked what I would like. I said a replacement meal seems warranted. Was told not without the food from last night. I simply said OK and walked off. I eat at this store 2-4 times a week. Been coming here since I was a little kid and loving it always. Now I will Not be going back. Sad day for me honestly. My marketing teacher told me in high school that not only is the customer always right (with some restrictions) but when a good customer wants something you give it to em. Spk to Manager Jackie and wanted me to drive back 20 minutes across town to replace my fries they undercooked that were cold. Then offered to credit only my fries nothing else to make up for the fact I am missing half my meal today. She said she bought food on her break and hers were undercooked also. Very poor excuse of trying to fix the problem. Good thing Sonic and Texas Burger sales chili dogs because you all lost my business. This isn't the 1st time these locations have given horrible customer service and undercooked food. It's the last time I will waste my money. I will also write reviews on YELP, Google and anything else. Should have just made it right instead of insulting me with replacing the fries only. By the time I drive 20 minutes then wait 5 minutes then drive back home another 20 minutes what you want me to do microwave me other food? Ugh you guys have really gone...
