Trophy's Pizza — Restaurant in San Angelo

Ok folks. The 5 star rating is a real 5 star rating. I'm from out of town, and I looked up pizza places in San Angelo. The first place I wanted to try was Trophy's Pizza, but when I got there they said they couldn't take my order because they had a big order they were trying to fill and couldn't handle another order just then. So I knew this was truly a "mom n' pop" shop. They had to be good to get such a big order. So I went to my second choice for pizza. While the pizza at the second choice wasn't bad, it was not as good as Trophy's. If you are from out of town, don't even try anywhere else! ORDER FROM TROPHY'S! You will not be disappointed! I went back a few days later, after my first attempt, and got a pizza from them. It was superb! The crust was fluffy and crisp and the toppings were plentiful and delicious! Disappointed in both the customer service and the food quality at this establishment. My wife and I decided to give Trophy pizza a second chance as they are located less than 5 miles from our home. Our first experience was mediocre due to the pizza being cold upon delivery, so cold that the slices were separating on their own when we opened the box.

Tonight my wife ordered two pizzas at 6pm and was quoted a 45-60min wait time. At 7:10 I called to inquire about the delivery and I was responded to with rudeness and aggression. I was told the order was not going to arrive on time because the establishment was running behind and that I could cancel if I liked.

Okay I’m gonna be honest I love the pizza here but the place itself needs to be cleaned ! It’s filthy in there and the couch is covered in dough or dust as well as the surroundings. And I had went about a few days ago (my 2nd time eating there) and I was watching someone pack pepperonis in a plastic bag and as he was doing it he grabs one and eats it. Totally blew my mind on that. As well as they had a female eating chickfilla near the pepperonis . I don’t think I’ll be back until they set some rules on the cleanliness there.
