Upon arrival a little before 4pm on a Sunday, there were no cars in the drive through and only two guests in the dining area. I took my children to the restroom where the sink was disgusting there were bits of gross toilet paper all over the floor and the baby changing station was barely hanging on by the hinge. My husband ordered our food. After coming out of the bathroom we were informed that a grilled chicken sandwich would take 12 minutes to cook. When asked if I wanted to substitute for a crispy chicken or spicy chicken I declined as I did not want breading. I asked what hamburger meal I could substitute. The manager informed the cashier that I could downgrade to a single cheeseburger and could not be refunded the difference. If I was not happy with that solution I could have the entire combo refunded. I thought this was a little ridiculous but I excepted the refund of the entire combo.
While waiting for the rest of our food I noticed none of the garbage cans were bagged and in place, instead there were empty cans in the middle of the floor, and straw wrappers littered about. The manager while wearing gloves, was also on her phone the entire time and touching money. Doesn’t seem sanitary to me.
Minutes later they said my sandwich was done. Confused, I then had to pull the money back out from my refund and take it back to the counter. The sandwich they gave me was not a classic grilled chicken, but something with spring lettuce and weird sauce. Instead of further arguing my husband traded me to just get back on the road.
Not sure what was going on but I think 12 minutes for a sandwich from a fast food place is a bit unreasonable, and the refusal to offer an acceptable substitute shows a disregard for...
Read moreI honestly wasn't even going to make this review. But this ones on the manager. Went to wendys today about 5:30 ordered food. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger did the 4 for 4. Mind you I work alot so I eat while I drive. Get to the burger and there's no meat on it. Never have I ever had that happen at any food establishment ive ever been too. I had to go all the way back there from across town . I wasn't mad or upset I just wanted the mistake corrected. Just for the manager to have the audacity to have the cashier tell me next time to not eat the other food to bring it all back. Unprofessional. I was a restaurant manager and thats unacceptable. I just worked a 10 hour shift & out of all the places I chose to go to wendys and this is the customer service I get? I eat while I drive because I do not get time. Nowhere in there policy does it say to bring back everything when THEY mess up your order or open up every item and make sure its right. Thats their job.. And then I didn't even get what I ordered again. I got a plain cheeseburger with mayonnaise. Thanks wendys . I come here alot. Usually there on point. Cashiers and employees are always nice. But someone needs to talk with the manager because that's not how you...
Read moreOne star is one too many!!! The staff was beyond rude and got every order in the drive-thru wrong. They had two refunds while we were in there eating. The girl at the register was very obviously annoyed that she had to work. Our order was messed up and we asked her to correct it and she grabbed the burger and instead of adding the mayonnaise like asked she aggressively threw it away and was mouthing to the lady in the back that it was wrong. We had a separate order that was just sitting on the counter they never even announced it was ready, and while standing there trying to ask about it she looked at me and said rudely "that's yours" and I said "okay can I get dipping sauces for the nuggets?" She walked off and the lady in the back had to come up and get the sauce for me. While there we could also hear what I assumed was a manager telling staff that if customers are ever cursing at them that they can refuse service to them. Apparently one of the two refunds was from an angry customer and honestly I can see why they were. Side note to the manager giving the pep talk, your employees need to treat customers with respect as well, respect is a...
