We visited this location tonight via the drive through. Knowing that they have limited flavors I asked beforehand if they had chocolate chip available. The order taker (a female) said yes. We ordered and paid. When receiving the shakes they looked very thin and off on color but it was dark and I didn't think much of it. As I drove off I tasted the shake and it was most definitely not chocolate chip. My daughter has allergies so we rounded back through the drive through where I explained that the shake was most definitely not chocolate chip and that I was concerned my daughter was served an item that she may be allergic to because the crew knowingly used substitutions and didn't inform us.
When I went to the window for a refund the young staff were laughing and joking. I explained the seriousness of the situation (potential allergy) and the female rolled her eyes and stated they did not use a substitute. I explained you could see and taste the difference and all I wanted was a refund and to return the drinks.
From there the female stated she didn't know how and there was no manager around. I asked for the number to contact either the owner or manager and the female stated there wasn't one.
Eventually a male came over and assisted with the refund and contact info. He even admitted that the females did use a substitute and did not inform me beforehand.
This could have been deadly to someone with a serious allergy. If they didn't have the chocolate chip they could have informed us and we would have opted to either not order or order a safe alternative.
I will also be filing a formal complaint with corporate. This kind of blatant disregard for customers health...
Read moreI have finally achieved the long sought after skill of human invisibility! Now, I can't confirm this myself becaise if I'm invisible I can't see me. HOWEVER, after walking into this establishment and being absolutely ignored at the ice cream counter for 15 minutes while there was only 1 other customer in line with me, it is clearly confirmed. I am invisible. My invisibility spell was broken when I had to ask for assistance with my purchase of a kids cherry jubilee sugar cone. Nope. No cherries jubilee. Down to 30 flavors. OK. I'll have nutty coconut. Nope. Out. Now down to 29 flavors. How about vanilla? Hazaa! Yes! Welp, got it on a regular cone so I assume there were no sugar cones. Worker appeared annoyed at my presence. Clearly me appearing out of nowhere traumatized her, but that's just a guess. Anywho, got charged for a regular cone instead of a kids, but at this point I'm thinking it's worth a dollar to leave the negative vibe of this place immediately. I recommend testing your own invisibility at this location. Anything other than that,...
Read moreThis place is disgusting! They should really consider who they have serving the food. Nothing against the young man helping (named Rudy)but he should’ve been wearing a hair net and some gloves or something. He had an obvious condition where he was basically shedding skin all over. Knowing you have such a condition you should cover up and wear protective gear. Not only that but he was touching his nose and his watch. Ridiculous!! Personal hygiene should be a part of these employees uniform… but anyways ,He can help with other tasks but serving food is not one of them. Unfortunately I didn’t get anything from here as I was too disgusted. But my friend wanted her cone with nuts on it and they don’t have any. WHY DO THEY HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS THEY MAKE THEM FRESH. if they make them fresh why couldn’t they make her one right then and there. Never again will I come here. And I will advise others not to come here either it’s disgusting and people are going...
