I've never had a problem with this location. Today I ordered food (online for delivery) because my family and I are observing the stay at home suggestions by the city. So my order was missing several items. I called to get reimbursed for the missing items (I didn't expect more than 5 dollars)... but they said I would have to go to the store. I was not going to do that. If you can take orders online, you should be able to reimburse remotely.
Update:
So I was called by a manager today (4/13/2020). I was TOLD (this was not an explanation) that they cannot reimburse me for the missing items on my receipt because the order came from FAVOR. According to the regonal manager, I have to go to the store to pickup the missing items. Again, I ordered and PAID EXTRA for delivery because I did NOT want to go to the store. The manager told me (and was a bit rude) that I will have to contact Favor. To make things worse, the "privilege of delivery" cost me $43 for a $29 dollar food order! Not good. After sitting around and thinking about it, I saw that the Bill Miller website redirected me to the FAVOR site (something I didn't notice when I started the order). I assume that Favor takes the order (and money) then forwards the request to Bill Miller. So Favor has my credit card info, which is why I have to call them to get any reimbursement (again, this is an assumption). So why am I upset with Bill Millers? First because of managerial incompetence. The way they spoke to me implied they were not at fault for the missing items. Was it the delivery guy who put the food in the bag then?!? Secondly, the Bill Miller website only say's "Order Online." The whole time I was ordering, I thought I was ordering directly from Bill Millers, not a third-party delivery service. I should have realized it when I saw the final price, but I overlooked it, thinking I was helping the local economy.
So what is the takeaway? If you are going to use delivery, order Chinese, Pizza, Wingstop, or Jimmy John's! You'll save money and get better service because they already have established (internal)...
Read moreLet me express my displeasure with Bill Miller's. I frequent this location quite often and so do my employees for breakfast tacos. Yesterday I ordered the usual two brisket and egg tacos and a tea. Not the cheapest thing on the menu or the cheapest tacos around but I like to eat that every so often. When I get to work with my order I open my tacos and all I have is brisket no egg. So I called and spoke to Mrs. Olivares she agreed to replace my tacos. I stopped by today to pick up my replaced order which they promptly start working on. I also place an order for 4 more brisket and egg tacos and a tea for some other employees total $17 and some change. I receive my two tacos with no apology about the mix up. I also ask the cashier to ask the manager if she would throw in a tea since it was on my original order. Mrs. Olivares tells her no because she already replaced the tacos. So I go ahead and pay for my tea and ask to speak to the general manager Fred. I explain my displeasure of having to pay for a tea after having to go back to get an order that they got wrong originally and he doesn't apologize and says Ill talk to her. I guess tea is to expensive to give away. They made me feel like I was getting over on them. Sometimes it is more aggravating going back to get an order fixed when restaurants mess up because managers make you feel like your lying. I will not be sending my employees to pick up tacos from Bill Miller's anymore. I guess to Mrs. Olivares giving away tea to satisfy a displeased customer is asking for too much. Thank you Fred for your nonchalant response to good customer service. He made me feel like he didn't value...
Read moreWent to Bill Miller's for lunch today and had a very bad experience, due solely to the customer service. Went with a co-worker and we both ordered the 4 piece chicken strip meal. While going through the line, I noticed that my 4 piece was actually 5, but didn't think much of it as 1 of those was barely an inch long, and a second was essentially breaded skin with no actual chicken in it. Figured I had gotten 2 as 1 because they were both hardly worth the name "Chicken Strip". When I went to check out, the ticket had it as 4 + 1 and the cashier charged me for 5. I said no, I only asked for 4, so she put back one of the largest pieces on the plate (to give to someone else), leaving me with 2 and a quarter pieces of chicken and breaded chicken skin. The food tasted fine, but I left hungry and I will never return here.
My coworker also got an up-size without asking for it and just paid for the extra piece of chicken.
Update: after posting the review there was a reply asking me to fill out a feedback form on their website. I did the same day about three weeks ago. No one ever replied. Haven't been back to the restaurant to see if there were any changes and will probably never go to another Bill Millers.
Update 2: Just got a phone call from someone at Bill Millers, they stated they left me a voicemail the first time around and I must have missed it. The gentleman I spoke to was kind and concerned about my customer experience and offered to comp a chicken strip meal to make up for the poor experience. I'll definitely not go back to this store, but I'll probably visit another franchise location...
