What is wrong with this place and people? I definitely won't recommend this FAMSA and it's staff. (We've had better experiences with other FAMSA store locations) First of all my father purchased items that would gift us a free 55" smart TV according to the gentleman that helped us named Adrian. Then the items were supposed to be shipped over, and they canceled the shipping due to a manufacturing malfunction which the couch had a tear in it already so the gentleman let us know they would have to ship it later to replace the couch. The day comes that they ship the couch and it's already been a week. Then when the men that help drop off the items come the couch was the same couch with the tear in it! They try to make my mother sign off on it and she says she doesn't want the couch like that. The men agree and make a note that the couch was already damaged that the same couch the sales associate Adrian told us about. I also forgot to mention that they didn't bring the TV because they "ran out" and we had to wait until they shipped more. It took a month for TV to get shipped. Sales associate Adrian had to get us to agree into settling for a 50" smart TV and a Windows tablet instead of the original 55" smart TV offer due to that he had to wait until the store bought more TVs. So you're telling me because of your mistake I either had to wait probably another month for a TV that was part of the offer or settle for less? And at this moment we still haven't received the couch. It's been 3 months and still no replacement couch! The sales associate just states "oh we're waiting on them to ship us more", to which I responded "you're making me pay monthly payments for an incomplete order" to which he stated "m'am the order isn't incomplete". How is a torn couch that is supposed to get replaced, that's been here for 3 months, no replacement, a complete order? We called again and he stated he was going to write a report but I want action! It is unfair that they're treating our family like this and dismissing our concerns! Tell me would you be paying for something that isn't a complete order ongoing to the 4th month already? Read moreAfter shopping around for days on a bedroom set, I was able to find one with a great deal and price, little did I know it was the beginning of a headache. Worked with Willy the top salesman of the month for about an hour getting everything together. Delivery day comes, calls start at about 9AM first call to let me know one of my pieces of furniture had to be reordered because it was damaged and I would not get it for a few more days. Next call is to let me know my delivery of the rest is on the way, when the man finally calls to let me know he is outside come to find out the salesman never changed the address and it was delivered to the incorrect place. Once I let the delivery man know the address he states this needs to be approved by the manager, an hour later after speaking with distribution, delivery, and supervisors along with the salesman I worked with, I had to get the address changed myself since the delivery man never called to have this approval. I never received a call to follow up with a time this would be delivered or any type of sorry for my inconvenience. They have the worst communication, and definitely don't care about fixing this in a timely fashion. The delivery address was written down multiple times when filling out this paperwork. Still waiting hours later, when the address it was delivered to is only 8 minutes away from the correct address. Very frustrating.
UPDATE: AFTER HOURS OF NO COMMUNICATION FROM THE DELIVERY AND ONLY BEING TOLD IT WOULD BE THERE FROM 4-6 I DECIDED TO CANCEL THE ORDER AS NOTHING WAS GOING TO BE DONE IN REGARDS TO THE INCONVENIENCES. FROM A DELIVERY AT 10 AM TO NOT BEING ABLE TO GET IT OUT TILL "MAYBE 6PM" NOW I WILL BE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR....
Read moreWorst place ever. My girlfriend and I were looking at A.C. units as here in San Antonio it is very hot. Of course we are young and we wanted to start our credit here with famsa because of their great reputation in Mexico,but here it's a joke. We were made fun of by the salesmen of the name of Carlos Mendoza. From the beginning he tried selling us a bigger unit than what we wanted when we specifically said what we needed. And he explained that you do need at least 300$ and up to apply for credit on a certain product. So then of course financial questions were asked and we make good money and I don't want to sound cocky,but I mean he made my girlfriend and I very upset at the manner he was treating us. Saying we don't make enough to pay for a 330$ a.c. unit. Telling us that how is it possible a 300$ a.c. unit won't fit in our window and saying we don't make enough for anything. And also making jokes that my girlfriend should deposit in my checking account to make it better for approval.... Like I said not to sound cocky but I drive a very nice 2017 car. I live in a 2019 house. Like my financial situation is honestly probably a lot better than him and yet he had the nerve to mock us and laugh at us. Very horrible service. I will never go back and I will make sure none of my friends or family ever step foot in one of those stores. And by the reviews this stores already has I doubt they'll stay in any business longer.
