I stopped eating church’s a little over a decade ago because of how bad the food has gotten. Decided to try this location out since church’s is trying to “rebrand.” I placed a mobile order via the church’s app. I arrive at the location 15 mins after my order was placed since the app stated that it would take 15 mins for it to be ready.
I’ve worked fast food before so I’m not a stickler when it comes to how quickly my food comes out because of the Friday night rush. However, there was no Friday rush. There was nobody in the dining room and maybe 3 vehicles in the drive thru. I walk inside and stand by the “pick up order” sign. I stand there for a solid five mins and was never greeted. The manager in the polo never even turned around. After the five mins a young woman locked eyes with me so I told her that I was picking up a mobile order. She laughed and grabbed the receipt from the receipt printer next to the register. Meaning they never knew my order went through. The young woman walks away with the receipt and placed it on the table with the to go boxes by the manager. I go to sit down and waited for about 3-5 mins and I hear the manager say yo one of her employees, “come make this guys order.”
Another young woman with red hair walks up and locks eyes with me. I get up and start walking towards her. As I get up she turns around and starts preparing my order. I had a feeling that once I got my order that something was going to be missing and I was right. I never received my biscuits…. The reason for ordering church’s is the biscuits. I didn’t bother going back the location or calling because I didn’t want to get into any confrontation and/or deal with the attitudes.
I honestly don’t blame the two young woman that I spoke with for my experience tonight. I blame the sorry a** “manager.” While I was waiting for my order to be bagged the manager goes to sit down for a break. It’s amazing how fast food places just give anyone the manager title. This is one of the worst places to do business with and I would highly recommend avoiding this location...
Read moreI ordered spicy chicken tenders. You usually have to wait, and that is normally not a problem. They said 6 minutes. 20 minutes later, I go inside to see what was taking so long. After some conversations between the kid who took my order and the cook in the back, it was clear to me that the tenders were prepared and placed in the try under the heat lamp. Apparently, the kid forgot about me and they were just sitting there. He slapped my order together and handed it to me with no apology or explanation. I asked him what took so long, he just said "waiting on the chicken" and turned his back on me. The older female, whom I assume is the day manager, offered no explanation or apology either. I told them both this was B.S. and I will never be back--and I mean it.
Okay--it's a year later and in a moment of weakness or stupidity, we decided to give this place another chance. We ordered the spicy chicken--not the tenders, but actual chicken pieces. We were told we'd have to wait, which is fine. But, when we pulled up to the window they had our order ready--she said it turned out they had enough cooked to fill our order. Turns out they gave us a box of old, cold, dried out chicken you wouldn't give to your dog. Look, I realize profit margins are tight, but does that mean you make no effort to do any quality control? Read moreOrdered online ($50 order) 4:19pm and it stated it would be ready at 4:41pm. I called store to ask if they could make 4 pieces spicy since that's not an option online. They agreed which was nice but said it would be 12 extra minutes. When my hubby arrived, they locked the door and he had to go thru the drive thru. He got the order and they forgot to put in the 15 tenders!! He had to go back into the drive thru since door was still locked. He finally got to window and was told they realized they forgot and they put some down. It's now 508 pm as I'm typing this and he's still waiting... all while watching the manager and 3 employees smoke outside. I called and was told it would be 2 more minutes. Now all my other food is cold including 8 pieces of chicken, fries and biscuits ... finally at 5:12pm ....almost an hour after I ordered, the food is ready. Ridiculous!!!
