Extremely Edible Crew Incredible Smells Delightful - To celebrate our sons 44th BDay he wanted to get some BBQ. We have been to many places locally and around the state. 4 miles away we see DeeWillie's BBQ, checked it out and he chose it, off we went...Thursday, around 1pm. We arrived and the smells were delightful, stomachs on full awake mode!. All the staff that greeted us were friendly, it was a smile rich environment, and it never stopped throughout our visit.

My wife ordered the a one meat plate, turkey with cream corn and Dee's Beans (which I ended up taking home, a bit spicy for her - delicious for me and my son! The turkey was moist, I got to enjoy the excellent bark my wife trimmed off.

My son and I ordered the 3 meat plates. Mine was brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, cream corn and beans. My son got brisket, pulled pork, sausage, cream corn and beans. We shared, he got one of my ribs and I got have his sausage.

They offer three sauces; regular, spicy, and honey mustard - all outstanding but for me there's magic happening when you mix their regular and honey mustard (add it to the beans, you won't be disappointed).

Brisket was smoked to perfection with an excellent texture, moisture level, and melt in your mouth goodness. Great plain or with any of the sauces (did I mention the magic sauce?).

Sausage was a really nice flavor, plain or sauced!

Pulled pork was tasty, tender, we very nicely smoked (plain or sauced).

We all really enjoyed the cream corn, many offer it, few perfect it and this was perfection.

The beans are very enjoyable. Yes, I ended up adding the magic to them but they're really good plain.

I would NOT insult the ribs with any sauce, not even the magic sauce. These were so good, the best I can remember having. We ordered 4 additional to take home (all the items reheated great, BTW). Lemonade was great, unsweet ice tea was brewed just right. Combined they make a great Arnold Palmer!

Peach cobbler is wonderful, banana pudding really good as well.

The crew, did I mention them yet? Mrs. Tammie, all the servers, the behind the scenes crew, pitmaster, all of them made the whole visit so much fun!

BTW - they have a bar and those in the bar area seemed to be having fun.

Also, we learned that every Thursday (6:30 to 8pm) they have live music that sounds like too much fun - fun backward is NUF to remind us all we can never have Nuf Fun!

DeeWillie's delivers fun and great food.

We cannot believe it took us this long to discover this gem! If you made it this far you really should just get in your car, I believe we are not the only ones that have had this kind...

I can't even begin where to start as to how BAD this place is. I was highly upset with Texas Eats and my friend who recommend this place. This place needs to realize that we work to hard to pay for such garbage. First off, I was talked in getting the all you can eat for 27 instead of the three meat which was 21 thinking why not its few bucks more and ALL I Can Eat, so I was lead to believe. I ordered the ribs, brisket and sausage with the three sides to start (Mac and Cheese, Potato Salad and Cream of Corn). I received a small portion of ribs a few sliced sausages (not link) and a few thinly sliced Brisket. At first glanced it looked decent yet not to what I'm used to but seeing it was highly recommended lets dig in. I ate the ribs, it was ok yet the sausage was not good and the brisket was fatty and dry. I drowned it in bbq sauce making a sandwich to at least make it edible but again that didn't help. The person I was with said order the brisket again maybe it was the cut so I did to receive huge chunks of more dry meat. Crazy. Meanwhile, the server asked if everything was ok and of course didn't want to be rude just asked for ribs and she came back stating they are out of ribs (problem number 1) so I asked to get the turkey, she came back again stating they are all out. So I asked how could I be charged for an all you can eat special if you don't have what i want or I would have just ordered the three meat plate and saved myself the extra money I was being charged. She just shrugged off my comment as suggest I order the spicy sausage or pulled pork and or chicken. I should have just walked out but I'm like "let ride it out" mentality. I can 100 percent tell you the chicken was not grilled and the pull pork was absolutely horrific. You should not have to use that much bbq sauce to make it taste better. The Mac and Cheese, cmon who are you kidding while I have to say the potato salad was not bad and the cream of corn was ok at best. Over all Dee Willie's should change it slogan from "It's stupid good" to "it's stupid to spending your hard working money on this." Seriously folks the only thing good was that the server was nice and honest while being apologetic yet having to pay for an all you can eat was in such poor taste, no pun intended or maybe yes it was. Dee Willie's and Texas Eat's you should be ashamed of yourself for having us believe in to your utter lies wasting my hard earned money on this absolutely horrible meal. Thanks...

We went today as it was my Dad's choice to go to for Father's Day. It was busy and not a table for 6 available and we were asked if we could wait, which we did not mind doing at all. We waited about 30 minutes and a table came open so we were seated and told someone would be right over for our drink order. We waited 15 minutes ( only waited so long because this is where Dad chose out of all over town and he is going through cancer treatments or we would have left) and a nice young lady came and asked if anyone had helped us. We said no and she took our drink orders and asked do you already know what yall want to order. We said yes and she said ok go ahead and order in same order you did drinks. My wife was first and said chicken and brisket and she said let me go check I think we are out of chicken. We wait another 10 to 15 minutes while I see her talking to different people and she finally comes back and says I think we might be low on everything a manager will come talk to you in a second. We wait another 5 or 10 minutes and the lady that seated us comes and tells us they are out of everything but 2 pounds of turkey and stands there staring at us. No, hey thanks for coming today we are so sorry let us make this right somehow or anything, just stood there looking at us, so we said ok guess we will leave. We didn't want to make a scene but I managed in food industry for over 20 years and would have never done customers like that anywhere i managed. It would have been let me give you a gift card or something to get you to come back and show appreciation. My wife and I have been coming here for years, ordering delivery and telling everyone we talked to about yall, and yall really let our...

So after seeing the news review for this place, my fiancee and I decided to check them out. We each got a 2 meat plate for 11.99. You can get a 3 meat for 2 bucks more if you are hungry enough. We wanted to sample as much as we could so we got the two meats, which comes with 2 sides each, pickles and onions and a slice of bread. We got ribs, turkey, chicken, and of course brisket. You can't sell BBQ in Texas if you don't have brisket on your menu. The ribs were "fall off the bone" tender, flavorful and moist. As a matter of fact all the meat was moist and not dried out like some places when you over cook them or have the fire too high. The turkey and chicken had great flavor to it as well, and they paired well with their barbecue sauce. As I said brisket is the cornerstone staple for any place in Texas that does BBQ and theirs was spot on with the best of them. Not too much fat on it to make you sick but not too lean that you didn't get much flavor from it. For the sides we got sweet potato casserole, cream corn, baked potato salad and green beans and ordered a lg. Mac n cheese as well. Of the sides the baked potato salad was my least favorite but that was just my own preference, all the sides were good my favorite was the sweet potato casserole. This dish was the best of them all! It was so good and sweet it should be a dessert, its topped with brown sugar and crushed pecan pieces. My fiancee was torn between the casserole and the mac n cheese. She loved the rich cheesy gooey-ness of the dish. If you are near this restaurant do yourself a favor and stop in sometime and enjoy the food for yourself. I promise you won't be regret it or be disappointed!

I can honestly say that at first I was thinking I was walking into a mediocre bbq spot but then I saw the prices on the small menu and thought, it must be good if these prices are set to what I pay for when I go to a great bbq restaurant. Hubby and I ordered the pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. At first, I was offended when we ordered the entrees that came with two sides when they brought us 2 slices of white bread in foil paper. This meant one slice per customer. Isn't grocery store sandwich bread a dollar and change? So we asked for more and we got two more. We noticed that we had to wait for any server to walk by (only 3 tables sat mind you, so slow at the time) just to ask for bbq sauce. Our server took our order and never came back. Now the meats were beautiful with a perfect pink smoke ring around but all you could taste was liquid smoke. The sides were sad. Mac n cheese tasted like over cooked starchy pasta without flavor and the cream corn tasted like it was made with thick gravy instead of a cream sauce. I can't complain about the green beans... they were great. We ordered brisket for my kids to go. They only set up the to go bag with one onion slice and a couple pickles for a half pound of brisket, along with two slices of bread in two separate zip lock bags which probably cost more than the bread. Why am I unhappy? Well for that cost, and feeling like I had to ask for customer service without feeling like I have to ask in order to receive, then ending my day with indigestion burping liquid smoke, I feel like the restaurant potentially could be amazing but it needs some work to potentially reach the level of a great bbq joint.

We decided to meet some friends on our way to an event at Toyota field and settled on DeeWillie's BBQ. We arrived around 5:15 pm. on a Friday evening, and luckily, there was ample seating. The place has a nice welcoming atmosphere. This was our first time visiting. They have table service, and our server was Esmerelda (Esz for short). She brought us menus and took our drink orders, we ordered sweet tea, which is served in a 32 oz to go cup. After reviewing the menu, we ordered a 1/2 lbs of Turkey, 1/2 lbs of lean brisket, a large mac-n-cheese, and large cream corn. The mac-n- cheese was different but tasted real good. Not too cheesy. The cream corn was good, too, and on par with others I've had at surrounding BBQ places. The Turkey was well peppered on top and moist. It had a good flavor. The brisket was very tender and moist, too. I was somewhat puzzled that the 1/2" of grisly fat was still on the meat and counted as part of the 1/2 lbs. Other BBQ places I have visited, when I order lean, normally make sure the meat is lean, and all grisly fat on top has been removed. In all, the food was good and had good flavor. I wasn't too fond of the BBQ sauces. They had a regular and spicy. The regular was a little sweet for me. The spicy was too spicy, either. One thing is for sure the opening to the bottle of the sauces needs to be bigger as they kept getting clogged. Overall, we had a good visit, and if we are in the area, we will be back. The staff and cooks obviously take great pride in their product. I hope you try them and your experience is enjoyable.
