October 2022: Last night was Daddy-Daughter night and we had dinner @doghaus_stoneoak. It's been a while since we stopped by. I had the Pretty in Pink cocktail and Dad with his favorite Lemonade. We shared the Corn Dog, Chili the Kid and Onion Rings. The Chili the Kid had white cheese, chili and crispy onions. I had asked for the Chipotle aioli to be served on the side in case it would be spicy for Dad. Dad was able to enjoy some of the sauce. Not the healthiest meal but Dad enjoyed and that's all that counts. You can sit at the bar indoors and outdoors and enjoy! Check it out! The paying this time was not an issue. January 2022: Dad loves hotdogs so I thought to bring him to Dog Haus for both of us to try. There was an extensive beer menu and also cocktails. You go up to the line to order your food and drinks, they give you a number and bring everything to your table. The big draw was the outdoor seating. There's even a small putting green. Dad and I split the cowboy hotdog and onion rings. I meant to split the corn dog with him too but he was full. The food came out quick and the food was delicious and fresh. Dad had fountain drinks while I had the Sunset Strip. Hopefully our experience paying was a one-off issue. We tried 2 different registers and I couldn't pay with my credit card. Ended up paying cash. Thankfully, I had cash with me.

I absolutely love this place for a chill spot to get good food and drinks with friends. they have a vast amount of options for food on their menu, ranging from hot dogs, sausage wraps, burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, veggie options, etc. I have had a few different types of food from their menu (hot dogs, sausage wraps and burgers) and everytime i have had great food. most of their options are on Hawaiian rolls (which is genius to me but **WARNING THERE IS SOY FLOUR IN IT (they have an extensive allergen menu) but you can sub the burger bun for yummy soy-free brioche or the hotdogs with another bread option too) I got the Little mule burger this time and mhm mhm they have great toppings, and the egg is consistently cooked sunny side up (the best). their burgers are smash burger style and have a nice crunch to them. we got sweet potatoe fries too and i am pretty sure they are hand cut because they taste homemade, as they are fantastic. they have tons of rotating draft beer options, from IPAs, classics, sours, stouts, etc, and even cidars and cocktails. the service is great, and they are quick with drinks and food. there is plenty of seating indoor and out, and there is games to play outdoor like cornhole, jenga and a little golf area. it’s just a fun place overall, with good vibes, food and beer. i’ll continue being a customer here.

All this is is a yuppie hot dog place. I was extremely disappointed. I got the cowboy chili dog. Seems like it's served on Texas toast. Sorry I guess I'm still traditional, I still prefer a hot dog bun. Bread was soft. You might want to try and crisp it up a little bit more. The toppings on the hot dog, crispy onions chili and the other sauce. Does work well together. But that's about the only thing I enjoy. My hot dog was brought out lukewarm. After paying what I pay for my hot dog I expected it to be hot and fresh. As for the hot dog itself, it's definitely a step up from the BAR S hot dogs. But that's about it. It's not a very good hot dog at all. So 6.99 for the hot dog. Costco has a better hot dog than this place and it's .99 cents. Not my fault you chose Stone Oak to put a place. I got the tater tots as my side. 2.49 for a small little boat. 2.49 for my small drink. And supposedly this was happy hour and I was just under $12. Honestly I wouldn't pay over 8 for it. This will be my first and last time to go. Other places have better quality and better value. And your staff really isn't attentive to your customers needs. They seem bothered when you ask questions. I did include pictures so you can see the sizes.

This was my first time ever eating at this restaurant so I cannot say it is always as bad as my experience, but I will never be returning to find out. The experience was awful from the moment we walked in the door.

Being our first time we did not know you ordered at the counter. After a minute of waiting to be seated nobody greeted us and nobody directed us so we sat down. We quickly caught on and went back to the front to order. After ordering my wife and daughter went to the bathroom and were disturbed by the filthiness they found.

Being only one of six patrons in the building at the time, it took an exceptionally long time for our food to come out. For a $50 meal this food was very disappointing. My daughters sliders were burnt so bad they were completely inedible. I cannot tell you the last time I sent something back to have remade but it truly was charred beyond eating. The bread of my chicken sandwich was so soggy that the first time I picked it up the bottom piece of bread fell apart. Im assuming they put the sauce on way too early and it got soggy before they brought it out. On top of that the chicken to breading ratio is way off. Just overall not a good sandwich. My wife and I were finished eating and still had not received my daughters remade sliders (at least 15 minutes had passed). By the time they came out they were better but clearly the person cooking over-cooks meat. To top it off the sliders brought to us were not even the kids sliders from the pictures shown from their online website.

I'm not one to typically write reviews because I know any place can have an off day. From this experience it leads me to believe this is the norm. When customer service is poor, every meal tasted sub-par, and overall cleanliness was bad I do not believe this was just an off day.

To give positives where positives are due the beer selection did look great and their sweet potato fries were good.

Overall, I would not...

Usually loved the place, but was totally put off during our last family visit. Later in the evening, after my sons baseball game we were looking at options and I said, “hey, let’s go to the dog haus. We went online to check the hours and it said midnight. It was like 10:20, so we were good. We got there, my wife ordered a Modelo and so did I. The first beer was poured and no more Modelo. OK, I will pick something else. I ended up with a Stiner which is not my favorite, but better than other options. We ordered and it was pricey for what we got. 3 orders of wings, two beers, and 3 sodas. Anyway, we waited a long time for the food, and got an apology for the time it took to serve. No big deal, because by then it was like 11 and we had time on the clock. By the time we got the food, I was ready for a second beer. When I went from the table to the bar for a second beer, I was informed it was last call. Even though we were the last people in the place, I had to walk back to the bar for my beer while the bartender was informing me they closed at 11 and made us all feel we needed to hurry so they could close. I told the bartender their website said they closed at 11 as did the sign on the door. I was informed that they were in their off-season hours and closed at 11. I was told they could not make changes to the website and they were wanting to close. Basically, hurry up and eat our nearly 100.00 wings and drinks. 18 wings plus drinks. They lost us as regulars. I was not going to post this, but after a few weeks of just letting it go, I received an unsolicited request for a review and decided to answer honestly. The bartender was rude and shiukd be fired. When an employee rushes off customers at 11 when the website and sign at the door says midnight, they obviously are not a good representation of the owner. Won’t...

Customer service was very disappointing. When I came in and placed my order for take out I asked the cashier if they honor military discounts and she said “yes”. I showed her my military ID, she rang up my order, and I paid for it. When I sat down to wait for my to go order I looked at my receipt more in-depth since the amount seemed a little high, and noticed I did not receive the military discount. I let the same cashier know and showed her my receipt and her exact words to me were “It’s only 10%”. I was shocked. Is that what you tell a customer??? What happened to customer service??? She did not even offer to put back the difference on n my card or offer me something to make up for her mistake. After serving over 30 years in the military and being the nice guy that I am, I just shrugged it off and sat back down to wait for my order. It was not about the money but more about the principle. Not sure what happened to the customer is #1 and other customer service etiquette and treatment from some employees and management these days but sometimes it is very disappointing. I did not say “well I left a 15% tip on my bill that came out to $45 so you can just give it to me back since it’s only 15%”. “And on top of that you can give me the military discount and add it back to my card”. Additionally, when my order was done and brought to me it was as not fully complete. There was no milkshake. So I went back up to the front and the same cashier asked me “can I help you” and I said “yes, I did not get the milkshake I ordered”. I waited while they made and provided me my milkshake. Very disappointing experience. Need to work on the...
