POV YOU FIND A HAIR IN YOUR FRIESđđĄđ¤ŹCome here often #loveinnout HOWEVER today they were very rude (only Allison and alondra and some employee in the back). I found a hair in my animal style fries now I took into consideration that it couldâve been my own hair but I found it buried deep in the fries. Not a problem Iâll just go ask for some more fries and throw the ones I had away. I asked for some other fries and alondra went not even five feet away from me𤨠and told two employees (Allison and an anonymous man I didnât know his name) about the hair in the fries and the two cooks actively mocked the situation and talked about how it was apparently impossible to get hair into the food because they wear hatsâŚhats and hats only. No hair netsâŚjust hats (paperâŚpaper hats). So while they were talking very loudly about it while I was at the handoff alondra tries to shoo me away because they are complaining about how difficult it is to get me my fries (which I very politely and calmly just asked for more fries it wasnât a big deal) and I wouldnât have said this if they didnât actively give me attitude but I responded with âif it was this big of a problem to just get some fries I didnât have to have them I couldâve just gone somewhere else it wasnât a big dealâ and they looked stunned as if they werenât talking loudly while I was less than 5 feet away. Anyways everyone else is super nice and Mark is a king heâs so nice. It made me sad that they were mean:( I do not appreciate this type of behavior reciprocated to me after I didnât make it a big deal I just asked for some more fries the conversation was 5 seconds long. Anyways probably wonât come back here because Iâm super sad now. Mark if you see this and any managers give...

I stopped by In-N-Out Burger in San Antonio for the first time, and Iâve got to sayâthe service blew me away. A young team member helped me out and gave me a full rundown of the menu. He explained everything clearly and asked if I wanted an open box since I mentioned I was taking the food back to my hotel. When I pulled up to the window, he remembered our conversation, handed me a few extra sauces to try, and even gave me one of their signature paper hats. It was by far the best customer service Iâve had in San Antonio during my tripâabove and beyond.
As for the food, I ordered a Double Double Animal Style and fries. The burger looked and tasted goodâno complaints there. However, Iâve got to be honest: I liked Whataburger just a bit more. The portion sizes at Whataburger felt bigger, and the overall flavor was slightly better to me personally.
The fries were my only real letdown. They came out extra crispy, almost hard, and Iâm not sure if thatâs how In-N-Out usually serves them or if I just got an overcooked batch. Iâd be open to trying them again to see if it was a one-off.
That said, the price point at In-N-Out is excellentâdefinitely cheaper than Whataburger, which makes it a great value. And honestly, the level of friendly, attentive service alone makes me want to return. Iâll give it another try next time...
Read moreThis place was packed. It's in a rather unfortunate location, you cannot turn into the place if you're heading West toward 281, there's a stupid barrier there brought to you by the geniuses at TxDOT, but let's get to the food.
I first tried In-N-Out when they came to town and opened their first location in Whataburger town off IH-35; it was horrible. The burger lacked flavor, the fries were so horrible I wanted to bury them in the yard with some moth balls.
Two or three years later I tried this new location - I wasn't brave enough to try the fries again (they cut them fresh but don't fry them twice, that's why they can't hold a candle to other establishments) - but the burger I had was worlds better than the one I had at the other location when they first entered the market.
I really want to dock one star because they don't offer mayonnaise on their burgers, they have something else that's like a sandwich spread, but if that's their gimmick I tried it and it wasn't bad.
Long review cut short: If you are stuck at this nightmare intersection of horrible infrastructure planning and happen to be hungry, spend 10 minutes at that horrid intersection and make your way to this restauraunt tucked away on a plot of land that never should've been developed. The burgers are good and they sell...
