Dunkin' — Restaurant in San Antonio

I've pretty much accepted that I can only come to Dunkin for coffee and donut purposes now. The drive through the last two times I've gone has been exceptionally slow- I've also had to repeat my order 3 times.

I've ordered a breakfast sandwich from here 3 individual times.. two of the times, the ham, egg, and cheese sandwich has gotten put on the wrong bread. There's a picture of it on your menu, and on the app. It goes on an English muffin..not a croissant and definitely not sourdough. And the veggie power sandwich I got once, came without the "meat" patty, so it was just egg and bread. They also forgot my donuts with that order.

My most recent experience wasn't as upsetting but having worked in coffee shops, I know what happened. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk. What I got was a macchiato. The shots were on top of the milk and in most cases, macchiatos are given an extra shot. I know you're thinking, who complains about an extra shot? People who have to watch their caffeine intake and/or someone who is pregnant, AKA me. I only ended up getting to enjoy half of my drink because I wasn't trying to get an overload of caffeine. It wasn't the biggest deal but I should be able to drink the entirety of the drink I paid for. There were people behind me and I'm super socially awkward so it wasn't worth saying anything, lol.

It's way more worth going inside to order just in case something gets messed up.. I love the convenience of this Dunkin but they really need some work. I never have taken out my frustrations on them but at this point there's been too many mistakes to put off...

The people were nice. The manager lady was super sweet. I ordered 2 Pistachio Almond Fudge Lattes, and a Coolatta. They made my Coolatta wrong the first time, and instead of making a new one, they just added the syrup they forgot to put in the first time. I was okay with it even though it tasted like they just doctored it and didn't taste they way I'm used to. One of my lattes was okay. The other one tasted like dirty water. Like watered down coffee. Didn't even look like there was milk in it. I dumped it out. I could tell the guys were new Summer hires and the lady was doing her best I didn't want to make them feel bad, so I didn't say anything. But if you are picky about your drinks (or just want them made the right way) taste it before you leave. 4 stars because they were nice people, and at least one of my lattes were made right. If I mentioned the other one, I'm sure they would have fixed it. Update: I risked going here again, only because it was close. They messed my single drink order up again, but it's okay I guess...make sure to check your orders before leaving if...

Helotes is much better.

Service went down… this place used to give quality drinks before the owner (or whomever he was) showed up and changed that. The drinks were very little and the cups stuffed with ice. My food was never hot. You can tell the breakfast is frozen and they warm it in a microwave before serving it. I still could taste the frozen “flavor”. This is why I stopped going there a few months back.

Tried it again today, since it’s the closest to me and yet again, now more ice stuffed in a large cup with very little beverage. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Needless to say, the people there have no customer service skills when you go in. They don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in the door. That’s why I only started going through the drive -thru.

Seems like this place only cares about saving money and doesn’t care about the quality they can give to its customers. Oh well, I won’t...
