El Canelo #6 Mexican Grill — Restaurant in San Antonio

Stopped this morning to get tacos before work. Pulling up to order at the intercom the girl was rude and rushing my mother. When my mother tried to repeat her order to make sure the right taco was ordered. The girl talked over her and said, "I know". Then proceeded to rush my mother through her order which is ridiculous considering there was no vehicle behind us and had to wait behind a vehicle at the windows. Concerned my taco wasn't a potato and egg with bacon and cheese I asked my mother to check. The girl at the windows told her I don't know ma'am I don't have the ticket. OK once she gets the food and ticket she says a bacon and egg with cheese. My mom tells her she asked for potatoe, egg with bacon and cheese. She replies, that's not what you ordered", that's when I told her well if you wouldn't have talked over her. She then proceeded to try to blame the speaker. Then she said, "it's OK we can make you another one". My mother replied, "yeah but you don't have to be so rude about it". The girl proceeded to argue back, "I'm not being rude momma". At this point we had to wait a good time and then with the argument, I was running late for work. I told my mom, no I'm not coming back this is the second time in a row they've been rude (previous incident a few days before). While driving away checked to make sure there was three tacos and the taco on top was open not even covered. Also got to work and opened my taco, there wasn't even any cheese. I came to try this place out, food was alright, not bad, not great, however service was abysmal. Waitress "jocelynn" or that's what her apron said could not have been any more uninterested in being there. I sat down and asked if they had a happy hour and she didnt knew what that is? I asked about margaritas and said only beer, then i told her to give me a few minutes to check out the menu, well 10 minutes passed by and i see her busy at the front on her phone. I got up and walked up to her and told her can i order? and said ill be right with you...im like seriously? youre too busy on your phone? i walked right back to my table contemplating just leaving at that point, then she came to take my order. Food did came out fast and hot, however after dropping the food i never saw her again, she never checked back on me and was too busy being on her phone and eating pizza hut. I finished my meal and waited and waited until i asked another waitress that was actually working and checking on her tables for my check, then my waitress brought it, i paid cash and as some reviews pointed it out she pocketed the change, she rounded up to the next dollar and brought me what was left over. I wouldn't trip over a few cents, yet my bill was .07, she could've brought quarters or at least acknowledge we don't have coins, but nope. She should be trained at least in basic customer service, cant imagine they work for tips and i get better service at the whataburger...

My family and I ordered through the drive-thru and the lady could barely understand English. We tried our best to order in Spanglish but they still somehow got our order wrong. Charging us for 6 drinks when we ordered 4 hamburgers and 4 drinks. They didn't even ask what kind of sodas we wanted since we paid for the meal that comes with canned sodas. I had to ask her if they were still giving us our sodas. She gave us our drinks and sodas then said she had to leave so the next lady comes and hands us a bag with only two burgers. I obviously had to go inside and find out what happened. She attempted to give me a refund but I just wanted the other two burgers. She didn't understand any English at all and had to ask a customer to translate. He was the most helpful person there. He told me the order they gave me was the wrong order but I didn't see anything wrong with the order when I checked and told him I just want my other two hamburgers so I can go home because they barely started making all 4 original hamburgers we ordered. I finally got the two burgers after standing there for what seemed like forever and left only to find out they weren't even what we ordered. You can imagine my frustration.
