El Noa Noa Mexican Cafe — Restaurant in San Antonio

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem Worth the Trip!

I had the pleasure of having lunch at El Noa Noa, a tucked-away Mexican spot off Zarzamora, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. My friends and I went specifically for the Trompito—even though it wasn’t on the lunch menu, the staff graciously made it for us anyway. When I say it was an experience, I mean it. The setup was incredible, and the dish was literally on fire when it came out. Every single bite was packed with rich, bold flavor, and the pineapple on top took it to another level. Between the three of us, we each had at least four tacos, and we still had leftovers that made another 4 to 5 plates. I’ll absolutely be back for this one. Highly recommend...

I ordered the Mexican enchiladas. It was so delicious, but as I was halfway through my enchiladas, there was a string of hair underneath. The waitress apologized after telling her, but not once did the manager come up to me to apologize or to recommend me anything else. The food is great except for that hair being in my food. I dont know if I would ever go back. If you wear a hairnet, please cover all your hair, not just the top while still having the rest of your hair hanging...

Service Awesome (Erika) 👏👍🏼🌷 Food was delicious and full of flavor. We had the Chile Relleno with melted cheese and Enchiladas Rojas. I had an extra taco de chilaquiles it wasn’t as good as other places but I’ll order it again. The tortillas were one of the best I’ve had here in town, not too thick and they had a buttery flavor. The best item was the house made hot sauce (the red one). By far one of the best all time. I’ll come back...
