El Tequila — Restaurant in San Antonio

10/10!!! Came in the evening and were seated immediately, and our server brought out the best chips with queso and salsa. They were so warm and didn’t taste stale they seemed freshly made! The menu has lots of options. The breakfast looked amazing, but unfortunately they don’t serve it all day, but we’ll definitely be back to try it. The street tacos with carne asada were fantastic! The meat had that little bit of char smokeyness from the grill, and they were so large I ended up only eating half of one. We also tried the steak quesadilla. It was HUGE. It was great, as was the Mexican rice it comes with. Most flavorful, not dried out Mexican rice I’ve ever had. I also tried a piña agua fresca and it was yummy. For dessert we took a 4 leches cake to go and it was amazing, highly recommend.

Our server was very nice and our food came out maybe 5 minutes after ordering. It was super fast! It seemed like a nice vibe in the restaurant and very straight forward comforting Mexican food. We’ll stop by again for sure considering my husband won’t stop talking about how...

My husband and I decided to try this place through the drive thru and got 7 breakfast tacos. The guy in the drive thru rang us up and didn’t even give us a receipt and just told us that we were good. Now we get home and I check my statement through my banking app and find out we were charged $28.64! I called and complained and they said that it should have only came out to $12.64! WE WERE OVER CHARGED $16!!!!!!! I had to go back today to talk to the manager who REFUSED to give me my money back even after I showed him the statement and said it’s still pending so if come Tuesday it’s still there then to call back. Apparently according to the manager (who was the guy who rang us up by the way) this has been happening in lately. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND OBVIOUSLY HAD SOMETHING VERY SHADY GOING ON. Tomorrow morning I will be contacting the better business bureau so they can get down to the bottom of what’s really going on here. Will not EVER be returning...

My wife and I decided to go eat here seeing it wasn't far from the house. The service here is terrible, the waitresses seem to forget that customers are dining at their establishment. The wife ordered two tacos and I ordered a Enchiladas Verde plate, her tacos came out fine but my plate...my plate was extremely disappointing. The rice tasted like someone had just smoked a cigarette and didnt was their hands or put one out in the Spanish rice. The beans tasted like someone had slapped a raw fish on top and left it on the beans for a few hours. When I spoke to the manager she acted as if she couldn't understand or believe that the restaurant could ever serve food that tasted that way. From one local guide/food critic to the public and other local guides/food critics, I would not recommend this place to others, I would give this place zero stars but google...
