Gross! On March 17th 2022, I visited the store on Marbauch. After literally repeating my order at the top of my lungs and realizing drive thru clerk had a difficult time hearing me I informed her I would place order at window. Atleast nine minutes later and now at drive thru window clerk wanted to charge me for someone else's order.. After informing clerk I was the one she could not hear, I placed order and she then asked me to drive to front and wait for food to keep stats low- as if I already hadn't been waiting long enough to speak to her directly and had not been sufficiently annoyed. I decided to go inside and wait. Same clerk gave me order minus my drink which she immediately provided after I pointed it out to her. I inspected the order once inside my car and with all the confusion I mistakenly though she did not include my tacos. I spoke to another clerk who identified herself as an assistant manager. I calmly informed asst. of issue and all she unopologetically told me was drive thru clerk was having trouble with headset. I work for hearing department for a major health insurance company and was genuinely concerned clerk had a difficulty hearing. Most people take 7 years on average to address a hearing disability. But the asst. clerk just seemed to not want to listen to what I had to say. I received no apology for inconvenience- nothing. Furthermore, why are you forcing people to place order at window if you know your company equipment is not working properly? Or, why is this establishment not placing some kind of note letting customers know to speak loud and clear because of the speaker issue? Customers don't want to just hear what problems you are having but that you are conscious and addressing the issue. Maybe by placing someone outside to assist with the placing of an order-something..In other words what are you actively doing to solve issue so customers receive efficient service- not just that you are aware there's a problem. I DO NOT WORK FOR YOU. YOU WORK TO SERVE US. Also, why is this company hiring supervisors that have no customer service skills? This asst. never once apologized for my inconvenience even after 3 minutes into the conversation. I advised her of this and she retorted by saying I was the one who made a mistake by assuming she didn't include tacos in my order. By this time I was thoroughly annoyed and appalled. I angrily demanded my money back and asst clerk kept continuing to argue with me.. I was upset and told her to fuc$$ng refund me my money. At that point communication was out the window and the posse of little hoodlums they hire for a crew were seemingly getting ready to escort me out Their utter lack of empathy and concern for the consumer experience is criminal. Another one of the sleazy female clerks threatened to call the police because I had used profanity in demanding a refund and after becoming annoyed by this ridiculous excuse for a shift leader..I never once threatened anyone and simply wanted my money refunded which eventually happened. I have been coming to Dairy Queen since I was 15 years old and have fond memories of eating a Beltbuster meal before school in the morning. That was 40 years ago but NO MORE. The people they hire, their undoubtedly lack of drug testing and starting rate at a disgraceful 10$ an hour is the reason why not only does this company hire people that DO NOT have any stake in the future of this company but also don't care for the customer. As God is my witness this is the last time I patronize this cauldron of rejects and appalling model of what not to do when addressing a customer concern- or any Dairy Queen for that...
Read moreI had the worst customer service experience ever. This is obviously an establishment that is not interested in making money. I went in and placed an order for four tacos and four blizzards. I paid and went to sit and wait for my to-go order. About fifteen minutes later the Dairy Queen worker tried to serve me my tacos in which I explained that I was taking my order to go. The worker left. I then saw customers whom had come after me begin getting their orders and leaving. After thirty minutes I was baffled on what was taking so long so I went to the counter. I then see the Dairy Queen worker grab tacos that had been sitting there and two of the four blizzards I ordered from the freezer. I was so upset. Why was my food and ice cream(half of my order) sitting there as I was waiting only two feet away? The worker could not answer me. Then this poorly attired unprofessional female “ manager” appears and I ask her why was my food, now cold sitting there as I was waiting and watching other customers leaving? She then says, “ well we lost your ticket and were trying to figure out your order?” What? Really? I then said this is a problem and someone has got to make this right. Her solution was to have me sit and wait for them to remake my tacos. I was irate, I said just give me my money back because obviously they did not need it. She then said fine. Then this other male worker appears and takes out a white notepad. I said I just wanted the cash I paid. He then asked me to sign a paper to get my refund? What? I need to sign for all of your mistakes? He then refused to give me back my money until I signed. This is ridiculous. What would it have taken for the Dairy Queen worker to come and ask to see my receipt to make sure my order was done? Instead they knew they lost my ticket and had me sit and wait. I used to love to go to this Dairy Queen and get ice cream and now I will be forced to go elsewhere. Aren’t these workers paid hourly? I am so disappointed with the way things were handled and strongly suggest some customer service classes. Go somewhere else, they don’t want or need your money was what I learned...
Read moreI wanted a strawberry cheesecake and was rung up for a royal blizzard, miscommunication it’s cool I understood. I called to get it exchanged or see what we could do about the blizzard. I call and this lady answers. I explain to her that I wanted a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and I got a chocolate one. She asked for my receipt number and I give it to her and she then looks at it and says “you order royal blizzard” She then catches an attitude and says “the royal blizzard comes with strawberry cheesecake in the middle and something to make it look brown but it’s not chocolate” and I then start to explain to her that I understand that but I just wanted the strawberry cheesecake one and she then says “well that’s the one on the receipt and that’s the one you got, you can’t say strawberry cheesecake and get rung up for a royal cheesecake” and I then say again “I know but it’s not the one I wanted, & I said strawberry cheesecake” and I wasn’t even mad about the situation, stuff happens. I work fast food so I understand. She then starts to yell and says that’s the one they rung up so that’s the one I have basically & I then tell her can I come exchange it? And she starts rambling on and I then tell her “she didn’t have to come at me the way she did because I wasn’t even being rude to her or nothing” and she then says “I don’t got time for this” and then hangs up on me while I was talking! I don’t even know if I spoke to a manager or what but it was a women and it was on May 20, 2020 2:55 pm. Never ever again! Rude for no reason at all. If u hate your job that much find another one :) I also know nothing will happen to her because I work fast food so I know how we take reviews but the way she came at me was enough for me...
