I went in this morning to pick up something fast for my son before school. I passed the first menu and went directly to the speaker menu, as I was on a time crunch due to school. When I approached and was greeted I asked what they had for the breakfast menu as far as kids, (implying any suggestions,) and I was told “the breakfast menu is the first menu.” I read all the menu in front of me and was confused and asked what there was again because I could not find it. I was then told “it’s the first menu,” about three more times then finally was told “the menu behind this one.” I asked “how am I supposed to read that when it’s behind me, that’s why I am asking you.” And the employees response was “…reverse..?”
I requested the manager and it went silent for about a minute and I was not told anything so I almost believed they were refusing my order, until she came on the speaker and politely assisted me.
Rude, unprofessional, not helpful and lack of customer service. How are you not knowledgeable on your own products and services and where is the training for situations like this? Where is the servant leadership in your employees?
It’s the location and culture of the people In this area unfortunately. I don’t know what I expected from such a poorly funded side of town and lack of educational...
Read moreI never knew what the food tasted like because I never had a chance to order. I entered the building in distress from IBS requesting to use the restroom. The cashier informed me it was for paying customers only. I informed them of my distress and offered to buy something once I was out of the restroom. She said that the restroom was for paying customers only and I would have to order and pay and then I could use the restroom. I indicated my distress again and willingness to pay after but that this was an emergency. She stood firm. I’m lucky I made it to the gas station across the way after having to wait for a red light. Yes, that took longer than placing and paying for an order, but if I was going to have consequences sit to having to wait, I’d have rather had them in my car than their lobby and been a biohazard. Because I’m courteous that way.
Jack in the Box: If your policy is to ignore consumers in need (I was going to order food) because your policy is so strictly only customer use of the restrooms, well done. You have trained your employees well.
Please know that it will be a LONG time before I enjoy your curly fries again after this awful customer service experience. When policy gets in the way of delivering good customer service, it’s not a...
Read moreI just came from here. They were pretty fast with my initial order but I checked my bag and found out they forgot some items. I told the employee and he said he would give me a free cheesecake (which I appreciate) when he would return with the missing cheesecake but I stayed out there for 10 plus minutes waiting on him to return with my food.I had to go inside the store and it turns out this guy completely forgot that we were waiting outside. One of the girls in there made an excuse "its just that we are so busy " but it shouldn't take that long to grab a couple of cheesecakes from the cooler. It seems like most of the complaints people have on here are intentionally done or the customer service is really really bad. You also can't see the menu at night because it doesn't light up.. it's been like that for a while now and I'm starting to think that they intentionally do this to keep people from ordering. One of the doors is also falling off. This Jack in The Box needs to work on their customer service and they need better management
Update: Still as bad as when I made my original review. They never have...
