After attending an awesome event yesterday, I wanted to fuel up the old belly with some Mexican food and I can always count on my compadre and his family to steer me in the right direction. As we entered, it was quite vibrant, packed, and the luring fragrant aromas filled the air. Our waitress was great and I must apologize for myself and my compadre for briefly putting a little fear in her life. Our pleasantly smiling faces suddenly transformed into faces of slight disgust when told that because it was Sunday before noon, we could not have our cervezas until it was noon or had food on the table. Fortunately, it 5 minutes to noon so it wasn't a major setback. I ordered the Camarones al la Plancha, grilled shrimp, garlic, onions, bell peppers on a sizzling hot cast iron plate. On the side was a plate with lettice, pico de gallo, and guacamole plus a medium sized bowl of absolutely flavorful borracho beans. This was all rinsed down with a couple of ice cold Bohemias. All in all, it was a delightful brunch.

I had stopped here last minute with several family members after my daughter's graduation first the chips were very hard, we ordered the fajita plate for 2 and the tortillas were hard and cold. They forgot my mother's plate and tortillas, also my Brother inlaws plate till we asked for it. My daughter order a plate of cardne guisada and the meat was raw, still very red, we sent it back and she ordered an Enchilada plate instead that she only ate half of, after she started feeling sick very nauseous, sad on her graduation day she was very disappointed. Also on top of sales tax there is an alcohol tax and beer tax also included an automatic 18% gratitude which my husband overlooked and had already paid 20% tip in cash. Only thing that was good and hot was the fajitas and charro beans.

If i could give -0 i would ..lol...i was eating breakfast there and i eat one taco without opening it up first but the second one i found pieces of trash in my taco. I had told the waitress and all she said " okay i wll throw it away " never came back. I asked for a cup of coffee and was totally ignored manager never came to speak to me but was making sure he was at the register. So when i said i was only paying for only one meal because i didnt enjoy the other one and didnt finish it plus i wasnt gonna pay to eat trash .....but when i started leaving he became ballsy and stood behind my car while taking pics no shame..gross food and poor sanitation

I am deeply saddened by my visit tonight which will be my last. I have been a loyal customer for the past 14/15 years the lady at the drive thru in the a.m knows my family and I...she even knows exactly how I like my potatoe and egg taco w/cheese and a SLICE of bacon no salsa in my bag and 1 salt....I'm the type of person who finds a good place and sticks to it...well tonight as the waitress brought us our chips and salsa my husband found a ROACH in the salsa!!! There are no words to explain the disgust I felt upon seeing that! If there is one roach there is certainly more. Unfortunately I cannot forget this happened and will never be able to eat there again without cringing! I really am sad because this place is pretty good and 14/15yrs makes me a pretty loyal customer but I just can't...I addressed the issue with a young female "manager" in the evening and she gave me a fake "sorry" and that is not over exaggerated she really didn't care. I told her we weren't paying for drinks and cancelled our order. I'm disappointed for their lack of cleanliness and disregard for this type of issue. But any recommendations to a new CLEAN restaurant are welcomed!

**after reading reviews I have to vouch for the added money to a receipt comment because that has happened to me too but the a.m lady at the drive thru who is some kind of manager discounted my meal for the extra $5 I...

This is the worst place I have ever been to. The manager slammed the drive-thru window on my husband and she threw the finger to me. When I asked her why I had to wait, she told me to go to McDonalds. The employee who was originally at the window slammed the window first and went to lie to the manager and said we did not want to move from the drive thru. I explained to her that we were told when ordering we would only have to wait for the Carne Asada for 15 minutes, so ended up ordering Bistek instead. Then when we got the the window they charged us the cost of the food but still wanted us to wait after asking why were we being charged an extra feee for not using cash. She said she had no idea and slammed the window and ran to her manager. This place and their employees are so unprofessional and rude. None of them speak English and only speak Spanish. Don’t go to this restaurant if you want to have a good meal. Go to Esme’s down the street. No problems and food is actually better. I only came to this place because Esme’s was closed. This place constantly has given me problems but this is by far the worst. It’s usually old tortilla or burnt beans or even a long wait time. Did I mention they charge...

My husband who is intellectually disabled became Upset when the waitress only spoke spanish. I ordered for us in both english and spanish. Then another waitress comes who clearly speaks English and continue speaking to us in Spanish. And Then Tells my husband in english that there are nicer ways to ask someone to speak english for them. And then she continues to speak to at us in spanish. The food was subpar. I mean, how can you mess up bacon? I think they did it on purose. My husband's tea came in a to go cup. When I ask for a cup of ice for a third time for my topo chico( once in spanish and 2x in english), the waitress informed me in spanish that it only will come any plastic cup. I looked at her with a bewildered look. Not because I didn't understand her but because my husband's tea automatically came in a to go cup. Then she repeats that I can nor get a to go cup in english as if I don't understand her. Reverse discrimination is real. To top it all off they added an unauthorized charge of $5. I will not repost this review...
