I never ate here and never will but I recommend you do not ever visit this restaurant. San Antonio is meant to be a place where communities should work together and a business that is nothing but greedy is a business that deserves no part here. Issues: 1.Owner is trying to buy out the rest of the locations around him and is spoiling business for the other businesses around him. Owner put up concrete curbs to prevent cars from entering the neighboring auto sale lot to ruin his business. This leads to vehicles parking in that area blocking off the entrance to Lil Gils Auto Sales almost completely. Due to this any business that Lil Gils Auto Sales gets usually will park in front of La Joya. Sounds like that would be ok definitely for a short stop. But the owner is constantly outside calling tow trucks on any one who parks at his restaurant even for a second. The owner spends more time causing trouble and calling tow trucks than actually working its amazing they still are in business.
I am not affiliated with any of the companies in anyway but simply visited the local businesses around him and quickly learned and experienced first hand how awful...

Service is a little slow, not complaining, just be prepared. But very well worth the wait. The waitresses are always sweet, they are just too busy some days. Their barbacoa and chicharon en salsa are my favorite. Home made corn tortillas. Chicken/beef fajita are sooo good. My son love their chorizo and bean, and my husband loves their menudo or chilaquiles. There hasn't been any bad food in...
