Read The UPDATE for 2024: They did a fantastic job on my pre-order for fiesta week! The concha’s were delicious and beautiful! UPDATE 2024: This year I tried to pre-order these concha’s for fiesta again and specifically asked for Fiesta colors, and mentioned the colors of Fiesta. The order was for pickup on Thursday . I arrived and the order was completely wrong; they were boxed in 3 when I asked for 6 boxes and the colors were not Fiesta, just their traditional chocolate, vanilla, and yellow. I said, no, I do not want them , can you please redo them and I’ll pickup on Monday. Monday came and it was the very same concha’s from Thursday it slipped out of the manager’s mouth. They simply reboxed them by color coordinated this time in 4 boxes; one box all white, one box all chocolate, one box yellow etc. In the display case however, were colorful concha’s that I asked if they could switched them out to, and the manger told me I would have to be charged DOUBLE. I said, why did my fiesta concha’s not come out like these ? I’ve ordered before and why would I have to pay more, now. Long story short I gave her my receipt and asked if I could just have my money back on my Credit Card. Instead she gave me cash and then I asked if I could take a picture of the receipt for the work expenses and then in front of customers told me NO ! And accused me of keeping the cash for myself and turning in the receipt for reimbursement to my company. I am not a confrontational person at all and even this comment did not move me to be at her level. I just walked out and gave my review. Never have I ever been treated so badly and wronged at an establishment. I was simply trying to give them business. Never was I rude or impossible. They told me to watch carefully what the workers wrote down on the order, which they correctly did! It was my fault at the end according to the manager, and was accused of thievery too! Unbelievable.

I went in the morning around 6am and got the Apple fritter plus some other pastries. They were all warm and fresh. Usually I need to use the microwave but no need for these. The Apple fritter is very good and recommend trying it. The ladies in the front are nice and helpful. Definitely a comeback spot in the future. Opinion might be slightly biased since I got them fresh in the morning.

Today was my last day in SATX, and I am SO glad that I stopped by here and met the wonderful lady who served me. She was so kind and gave me extra cookies to try for free and she went through so many of what the different pastries were since I said I wasn’t too familiar with them and didn’t know what to get. I hope I get to come back to this bakery when I visit San Antonio again!

Best bakery in SA! No one compare' s to the tastiest sweet bread the cinnamon is not ground to dust there are small pieces (flakes) that elevate the taste in the conchas. The cinnamon twists are to die for. Oh so SOFT! The campechana's are so delicious especially when you can get your hands on the strawberry filled or pineapple filled ones. They go pretty quick in the morning! Talk about you snooze you lose (as you whack yourself with the chancla) And last but least the cookies wedding, canela, sugar can't go wrong. And very very reasonable. FYI bring change if paying with cash as they may no have enough at times. Like seriously don't go walking in there with a $20 for like 4 doughnuts. You inadvertently get a face that say Really!(as just before you get slapped in the back the head look) Lol very nice ladies a little limited in English. But do understand. (No le haces malo!) The real pride of...

Authentic and delicious, no other panderia compares to this place in my opinion of you're looking for real mexican pan de dulce and pan de huevo. My family and I have always gone to this bakery for generations. They make their sweet bread fresh daily and there's always a wide variety of a selection to choose from. The wedding cookies and pink cake/pink cupcakes are amazing in my opinion. I really do appreciate the owner's and the employees hospitality and kind service. The quality and the taste of all of their pan de dulce really does speak for themselves! They keep an exceptionally clean environment and they also have...
