I would like to start on by saying the day and time of my visit. I was there on 8/10/2024 at 4:15 p.m.
Everything seem normal we ordered our food. While my husband and I were sitting and talking , we heard the "manager" going around started behind the register and I quote -" same schedule next week ,same schedule you already know it" , you may ask well what's wrong with that.? Well, the tone he used was very rude towards the employees, and that's what caught our attention. Soon , after that the line in the lobby got a bit long so he goes" they can help you on the other register " and proceeds to tell the employee to go to the register same rude tone of voice. So, my husband and enjoy our meals. Yes!! while sitting down we noticed employees were restocking the mini condiments bar , the buss boy was cleaning tables he looked very young and I guess he is relatively new. The manager who's name we don't have, is a male with a beard and long hair ,and thin frame. He walked like he own the bill miller's on division. The ' sorry manager ' proceeds to take a break and he takes a sweet tea and sits down on a spot where he can keep an eye on everything. But before he sat down he scolds the young buss boy about taking a break and cleaning tables. Then something happened at the register the cashier needed to void something he gets up all upset and tells her something about getting called out. The buss boy was cleaning and one girl comes out and tells him don't touch his drink he( sorry manager)is coming back to sit.
And after a while he does come back and sits down . One of the other employees taking a break gets back and the ' sorry Manager' - " hey ! Tuck in your shirt!!" Like why use a rude tone?!
Then , someone he knew comes in talks to him and he was not rude with that person...but later on and employee comes to him and said something and he tells him " you are going to lie straight up to my face?! Huh you are lying straight to my face!!" Really this dude thinks he's God or what?!
Ugh by then my husband and I were so upset we were so close to making a scene.But we decided to make it here !!! Yes the they have an A/97 but he needs to take a course on how leaders and managers have different roles but a leader motivates , inspire employees to bring the best without rudeness.
Back to the young buss boy , he was getting confused on what spray is what ...and he got after him for using the wrong spray for cleaning .And then he ( manager)gets up from his break and tells the bus boy something and the buss boy all he said was " yes, sir!" Dang made me think of the army that's exactly how it felt being there! All the employees had a scared - afraid look on their faces .
Now on 8/11/2024 at 11:30 a.m we decided to go back to get pancakes. When the line was short the lady wearing a purple tee said I can help you she was the manager for the morning I suppose , she went ahead and open the other register took our order and was very nice she told us only card on this register very pleasant young lady. Very different from the other individual. She actually told us she had a migraine , but even at that she was the pure example of what a leader is in management!!!!
She deserves to be the one running the show and not that sorry male manager, who uses intimidation to run the Bill Millers.
She had everything running smoothly without the need to be breathing on employees neck. She was on everything from what we saw while eating there.No need to be rude. I hope that by leaving this review someone talks to that male manager on duty the evening of August 10th at 4:30 p m location division and I -35. Or disqualify him from the...

The older women who does the drive thru window in the weekday mornings generally does not have a good attitude.
Today when I got my pecan pie, I took a bite out of it AND THERE WAS A PIECE OF HAIR! I LITERALLY SPIT OUT THE PIECE OF PIE and you could still see I didn't even finish the pie. I went back through the drive thru and told them I've never had an issue before but there is a piece of hair in the pie. The young lady on the speaker apologized and told me to come to the window. I went to the window and i showed the older lady who is usually the cashier at drive thru in the weekday mornings.
This woman didn't say anything after opening the window so I showed her the pie, which was still a whole slice of pie. I'm not out here trying to get a new one after having eaten the whole thing. I've worked in fast food before and people have literally placed a hair in their food for more food after they have eaten most of it 😐. That's not the case with me, the pie is still all there with a piece of hair that you can tell is not mine.
I show her the whole slice with the fork holding the hair and piece of pie in it that I spit out of my mouth once I felt a hair. She just takes the plate from me, shows who I presume to be the male manager in the back. She's hasn't said literally anything to me and she has an attitude of I don't beleive you.
She comes back after having talked to her manager and asks in an annoyed tone "what do you want?"
There was no " Im Sorry that you had a random person's hair in your mouth". no courtesy or kindness in her demeanor or in addressing the problem.
I told her I would take a slice of pie that didn't have a hair in it.
She goes to the back and I can see her telling co-workers about the situation and they all are looking at the pies. She comes back and gives me the slice and says nothing else.
I got a slice to inspect it to see if it had any hair too. Thankfully it did not, but I did throw it away because I'm disgusted at the fact that i literally had someone elses hair in my mouth and there was a complete and totaly disregard for this matter by the staff....
Read moreI've been living in this beautiful side of Ol' San Antonio, Tx. for over 5+ yrs now. I absolutely love eating Bill Miller's B-B-Q. For starters it just gives Me a piece knowing this business is based in San Antonio. Also I was also an employee when I was in High School @ Culebra & General McMullen location, soo the opportunities Our young generation in S.A., Tx. are truly a Blessing. Now As a member of this community is a duty to give due diligence where it is earned & deserved. Yet & Still when it comes to justice being served to those certain few that feel or believe they have some kind of rite or entitlement, just because they have been Blessed with a higher rank than others. It does not give anyone any rite too be disrespectful or have poor taste with their Actions, Desicions & Choices & thinking they will get away with it just because they have been Blessed with a title such as Assistant Manager. Having been Blessed with any management position calls for one too gave a higher caliber of respect for themselves & others. Yet (Santos) an employee dat holds some sort of management position, feels & thinks that it's fine & dandy to make gross & grotesque cat calls under his breath as I was at the food island grabbing a few items. I didn't catch it at first, yet I most definitely knew exactly what was going on & who exactly was disrespectful & Mistreating Me as (Santos) passed Me again to serve a table of customers with something they asked for, I clearly with full clarity heard him smack his lips & under his breathe as a whisper say "Mmhhhh-Mmm-Mmhhh" as if He had smelled or tasted something soo delicious.! At first I didn't Want to believe it. Yet I noticed the way he looked at Me. I am a straight Man that is married now for a little over 28yrs with My wonderful wife. Unfortunately (santos) is the only employee that is On the clock that has any management position. Soo I couldn't even report him.! There should always be more than 1 manager on the floor or in the building for rare cases just like this.. I'm also writing a letter for the next manager...
