Little Fish Factory — Restaurant in San Antonio

This place was a big part of our family tradition for so many years. Ate there for birthdays, anniversaries, special events, etc. As of today, never again will I or any of my family go to eat there again. I pre-ordered the 15 piece fish and fries deal and 3 additional fish, on our Anniversary I might add, and the fish was hard and mostly crust. My wife called 2 days later because they were closed Sunday, and Monday is when she called, and spoke with who they claim was the owner about the messed up fish. He said he would replace the order and would write my wife's name down, so we could go pick it up at our convenience. Went to go get the fish today and they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about, and wouldn't give us the order that their so called owner said he would. I said that's okay, I will take it as a lose. It just disappointed me that they would do this after all the money we've given to that restaurant. Little Jip Factory is what I consider them now. Evidently they have an As Is Policy with their food. Make certain you check your order...

First time trying it due to its high rating and I was severely disappointed with the fish and shrimp platters ordered. The food was absolutely disgusting with no seasoning on it! None, zilch...not even a pinch of salt; it was as if it was perfectly breaded, fried and served in its raw essence.

But what utterly disgusted me is the issue that none of the fried shrimp were cleaned properly. Every piece of shrimp i inspected still contained its digestive (poop) tract! I have a habit of pulling apart my seafood prior to eating it for reasons such as these and I only assumed they missed cleaning a few after pulling apart shrimp from my personal platter and finding the digestive tract intact, But no, I ordered several platters containing shrimp and pulled apart over 30 shrimp out of 4 different platters and all were uncleaned and contaminated with the digestive tracts still intact within the shrimp body. I made my family throw all the food away.

Highly disgusted and will never try nor eat at this...

Well I will occasionally write something, if it deserves it..... mind you I travel more than the average...... Bulgaria, Czech, France, Greece, Morocco, Spain, U.K., Guam , Hawaii, Mexico, Central America, Alaska, Caribbean Islands, West Coast, Gulf Coast States. I don’t know if I was just hungry that day. But it doesn’t take an entrepreneur to taste quality and unique food. A true treasure, in the middle of nowhere Texas, But on the other hand I only had the catfish with spinach and corn. .....I will definitely go back,and want the same plate. But, it was recommended, I try the New Orleans style fish next time. They have hit that rare restaurant spot of the perfect amount of ingredients in there food. As for friendliness, once I instigated a conversation with the two persons that waited on me, I found them to be very personable, with a little history on the restaurant., to boot.
