If you walk in and you don't speak Spanish fluently, then you're basically non existent to them. I ordered anyway due to hunger and now I know the food matches the waitresses and the service. I guess the young lady at the register thought I wasn't gonna tip and she gave me a smug look. Not knowing I had cash in hand for the tip. Out of courtesy, not extended to me, at the very end, she acted surprised when I left a $2 tip. I actually had a $5 bill but, due to her arrogance and poor customer service, I only left $2. Against my better judgement. So the food was to go and upon receiving it and opening it at home. It was not worth the amount I paid for it. I paid $27 for (2) bean and egg tacos , an order of bean and cheese chalupas, and a gallon of their tea. $27 dang dollars for less than mediocre food and horrible customer service. No sense in saying more. It was not a good experience and lacked in every way. I've been here before and it's always been pretty much the same. No improvement. And the only reason we stopped here was because all the Mexican restaurants in the surrounding area close at 2 or 3 pm and it was now 3:20 pm. My recommendation is that you keep drive my. Go to the Pollod Asados across did the street and get your...
Read moreGiving one star for various reasons. My husband and I went for an early dinner at the restaurant. Firstly, the waitress came up, didn’t greet us and seemed very rushed. She brought us our drinks and stale chips. From the time we ordered our drinks till the time we left, it seemed like the entire restaurant was ran by kids. This isn’t to be offensive in any way, but every employee there was acting immature like it wasn’t a business. The girls were singing karaoke-like. The guys in the kitchen were loudly entertaining themselves. The worst part came when my husbands food came out of the serving window, I see his plate, and one of the young girls is hysterically singing and laughing and mind you (coughing/spitting) two inches from his food. Covid is real, and if it wasn’t this is still SO inappropriate, disgusting, & below passing in the inspector world. This may seem harsh, but in all complete honesty- our experience was wacky from start to finish. My 2 cents, if you wanna subject your patrons to unwanted karaoke, wear a mask. I can get covid from...
Read morePrices are too high for simple items... I got 3 bean and cheese tacos with bacon, which usually at any other Mexican restaurant would have cost $4-5 because I had them with bacon and the drink would’ve cost me an average of $2 and some change. Instead my price came out to $10.19... somebody needs to take some more math classes. Especially because you have so many more Mexican restaurants on the same street you would think they would be more competitive and have better prices but no. Secondly, three other people that I had lunch with ordered the crispy tacos and their meat wasn’t real ground meat it was potted meat, and when asked the waitress what it was she went on to say she didn’t know and that the owner gets meat from a “ special “ place... yeah right. And lastly but not the least, I’m guessing the manger/owner wasn’t too fond of us so he kept watching and mean mugging us. I Really didn’t know he even worked there until after we were done eating and he got out of one of the booths and walked into...
