My wife and I went there today and didn't have a good experience. The coffee was really nasty and tasted burnt, so we drank water. We ordered 2 $6 plates, the rice was cold and every restaurant we've ever eaten at we would get 3 cheese enchiladas and this time was only 2. The restaurant was freezing and that may have created the cause for cold food. The check came out to $15.18 but the plates were only $6 each. Tax should've been about 96¢, not $3.18. Definitely don't recommend this place. The food was mediocre, not anything special at all I would definitely go back to my restaurants and not go back here. Dos hermanos and la tapatia are really good places for delicious Mexican food. Their tortillas were really good though. The chairs were all different styles and I was sinking in mine. Read moreFAT TACOS!! FRESHLY MADE FOOD WORTH THE WAIT AND PRICE...these tacos are fat! They have so much food I can actually save a little scratch by sharing them with my two toddlers. The carne guisada is delicious and the beef fajita and barbacoa tacos are also good. The breakfast tacos are the bomb diggity hot n fresh. They usually have the same people up front and a man there who seems like the owner is always greeting and saying bye to clients. Many repeat clients from the hood come here and love it...our family has tried most places around this area and feel this has the best food. The prices are a little bit more than what we're used to paying... but hey the food is fresh and hot and the staff and service is good so the price seems fair and evens out. Oh also they have barbacoa specials...

I haven't yet been there for breakfast, however, I have had lunch specials on Monday (the Chile Relleno-the best I've had), Tuesday (Chicken Mole), Thursday (Gorditas-also the best I've had) and Friday (Mexican Hamburger-which I have yet to try), and the weekend special of Pork Tips in either Salsa Colorado or Salsa Verde. I live a fair distance from the restaurant or I would eat there much more often. The weekday lunch waitress, Daniela, is very good and remembers her customers choices after only a couple of visits. Spanish language ability is helpful. One more thing: they make excellent, and reasonably priced ($12/dozen) large...
