This Jack in the Box is in a VERY dangerous area. Seems to be a haven for the homeless. Some are seriously ill and can be suddenly aggressive. I am deeply concerned for the staff! I feel the company should do more to protect their staff and us customers! The staff are targets. They have had to keep their bathrooms locked. Customers have to wait at the counter but the staff is required to walk down a hall, with a person following and COULD EASILY BE SHOVED THEN LOCKED INTO ONE OF THEIR BATHROOMS WITH A VIOLENT PERSON. I didn't see any cameras in that hall.
In spite of all types of people, in all types of conditions, wandering in and digging through their trash and hovering over customers waiting to snatch up left overs... The food was well prepared. The service was friendly and they were ALWAYS polite to those homeless. Today two men approached me and did not ask for money Just wanted some fries. I am always careful not to show l have any money and just say, l'm sorry l only have my debit card. They didn't demand anything else. Didn't ask for a drink too so l abliged. There is a community clinic across the street. I feel the company owes their staff...
Read moreCame by to pick up a DoorDash order and was told by the app to go inside the store and while the app is sometimes wrong about which stores have their lobbies open this store did not have any signs saying that the lobby was closed. The tables were all clearly closed but many restaurants have the dining room closed and the lobby open for carry out orders and the door was unlocked so I entered anyways. I noticed there were only two staff members and both were very busy so I didn’t mind waiting but 10 + minutes later no one had helped me and both had definitely seen me and kept glancing at me but not saying anything. Finally one of them told me that the lobby was closed and I had to pick up the order through the drive thru. I wanted to feel bad because they were clearly very understaffed and busy but being actively ignored for 10 + minutes is just ridiculous. Even if they were too busy to come up to the counter they’ve could’ve said something from where they were working, they were close enough that I could see them the whole time. Or at least put up a sign or something to let people know the inside is closed. The way the staff acted was just very dismissive...
Read moreI went through the drive thru and ordered the new all American ribeye steakhouse burger with an order of fries and a rootbeer. Once I received my order without checking my bag I drove off and reached for a fry and it was cold and stale. Before leaving the parking lot I drive back around to the drive thru to let them I had just left with my order. Pulled up to the window and spoke with the manager who was working the window and showed him my fries. He was very polite and made me a new order of fries. The picture I took below will show the fries on the left are the stale cold ones, and the ones on the right are the freshly made fries.
