Madame Dalia's — Restaurant in San Antonio

Shift change was happening when we walked in, expected no service for a minute. Once it was said and done, the first drink I ordered the bartender told me they were out of a top brand whisky, that the owner went to buy more from the liquor store. Ordered my second choice and it was poured in a whiskey glass with a regular straw. Not typical of this drink.

As the night progressed the bar back was seen in multiple occasions drinking behind the bar. She got in an altercation with a patron about what her tip out was going to be and they bartender, clearly the patrons friend allowed the argument to get louder and louder, disturbing the pool league tournament in progress.

Moments later said patron gets up and begins to shove another patron out the door with the bartender following and other patrons at the bar. A fight breaks out in the parking lot and the bartender is out watching it.

I had paid money in the June box and the bartender decided to turn off the jukebox so they could listen to the music they wanted to.

I asked if she could turn it back on and she advised they just didn’t want t to pay for the music, I advised I have no problem paying for music I enjoy.

She then accused me of being “ugly” about the situation.

I no longer ordered another thing from such a rude server

Fast forward to 20 minutes later, the patron and the bartender back get into it again and tell the bar back she is fired because she is calling Dalia and make sure of it.

The shoving and yelling continue to escalate and my group of 13 decided it is no longer safe environment for us when threats of shooting and knives start. We all quickly close out, as the bartender was very apologetic, and leave. Only to walk out to a parking lot full of police officers.

Will never return to this place. Bar rescue only put lipstick on a pig, the place is...
