Treated like trash. We are from out of town. Figured this would be a place who wouldn't mind some extra cash in the drawer from some out of towners looking for a drink or two, not a crazy idea right?.... But boy was I wrong! Upon walking up to the location there's a sign that is blinking open. When we walk in we notice a lady behind the bar and a man with a drink sitting at the bar. Appearing very open for business. Once she see us she runs over to the extremely dark area to the left after walking in to appear she is doing something useful. The man just stared at us like we walked in on them doing something inappropriate or like he was caught red handed. The lady said she is trying to open up still. I said oh I'm sorry well what time do you open, she said 4. Mind you we went at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. I said ok well I guess we will be back. She didn't try to stop us or say no need you are here what will you have? So we left. I wasn't aware until my 55 y/o father told me it wasn't that they weren't open but more of that they did not want us there and we were not welcome in. This establishment ought to be ashamed of themselves!! My money is just as green as the guy at the bar with a drink already. I have also been told I tip very well. I saw only two cars in the parking lot, one was an older vehicle which we parked next to. The other was a blue BMW parked by the door with a sun visor up so I assume the employee was driving that car. If you see that car just know, she doesn't care about having a successful business which generates money. It appears she will turn away money and service because she didn't like the pale...
Read moreThe girl at the bar couldn't even crack a smile. Me being from California!, I am used to good service. I think her name starts with a T. I had my ESA dog. I showed her a letter from my doctor. Everything was good, until she wouldn't let me in the next time I forgot his jacket.I thought that people from Texas we suppose to be nice. I would come back, however I was refused service for spitefulness. I asked her why she hated me so much, she just shutdown. I am going back home feeling unwelcome. This could have been avoided if she just let my quiet dog she did not notice for an hour later. Also, I tried to get rid of my loose change, yet she didn't take legal tender except quarters. I would really like see my friends here, let big on bygone be big ones, I cannot recommend someplace that doesn't want my money. It was fun at first. I am still in Texas for business. I came for business meeting with Shark Tanks Kevin O'learly aka Mr. Wonderful. I know an entrepreneur who wants success and those who don't. I would love to make amendments with this nice place, but I don't know how. There has not been an effort on their part. If I no accomidationI will be made I will go home disappointed feel left out to dry. I think the Express News might be interested with this, however, want rather not if I can help it. Thank you for listening. I really would like to come back and see my friends....
Read moreI will definitely be coming back. This will be MY bar from now on. From the minute you walk in you can feel the friendliness and the Good Vibes. The bartender David (Primo) is very friendly and delivers exceptional customer service. He went out of his way to prepare a special drink for me that he had never heard of and it was great! He and his wife continued to check on me throughout the night. The DJ is awesome and plays a wide variety of music. He will play any songs that you request as well (if he has them) There's a Pool Table, there's Darts, there's Karaoke on Saturday nights. There's outdoor seating. But what I love the most was that it's a simple bar where you can feel comfortable enjoy yourself listen to music dance and make awesome friends. At Nite Owls Bar they make you feel...
