I’m a regular at the Hackberry location. I’m usually on the run and have very little time to make dinner so I opt to go for Pizza Hut, always do the special of 1 topping and one 5 topping pizza or a specialty pizza for 22.99 with the total coming out to 24.13. Well I ordered my usual on the app, mind you I only go through the specials option bc that’s where I get my deals or use the points I have accumulated bc like I said I’m a regular. Well for some reason or another only the specialty pizza goes through for 24.13 and my hubby who picked it up doesn’t question why he only got one pizza box. So I call them and I’m I explain the situation to them. I told the “manager “ that if they take a look at my history they would see I normally do 2 pizzas for that price. And if I could go get the other. They said no that there was nothing they could do. Why would I be okay to pay $25 for one pizza when I always order 2 for that price. They said no refunds only store credit when the pizza was almost home. Why would I go all the way back to go that when the reason the food is ordered is bc I have hungry kids waiting. I’m very disappointed in the customer service and will no longer be a customer. Again I ordered this on the app and specifically went through the deals option so why not honor it? 25 for one single pizza is ridiculous especially with today’s economy, super...
Read moreWhen I walked in to pick up my order I noticed that someone whom I believe was the manager on duty, her name was Mary, I learned was preparing pizzas with no gloves on. She had her bare hands pressing down the raw dough into the pan and then reached into the cheese with her bare hands.
I stated, shouldn't you be wearing gloves? She stated, "No, I shouldn't be wearing gloves because my hands are clean!"
I then stated, "No, you should be wearing gloves!", again She stated, "No, I shouldn't be wearing gloves because my hands are clean!"
This happened 3 more times.
I then asked, (4) times, when she handed me my order, "Were you not wearing gloves when you made my order?", She rudely stated "I didn't make your order!"
She then ordered me out of the store. I said, "I will be calling the Franchisee and the San Antonio Metropolitan Health Department to report her."
She stated, " Go ahead, my name is Mary! Next time, don't be so rude!" and again ordered me out of the store.
I go to this store at 2035 S. Hackberry because it is 5 minutes from my house and typically do receive excellent service. The pick up order was ready quicker than I anticipated. The Location on S. Hackberry in San Antonio always does...
Read moreDON'T GO HERE! I've lived a few blocks down my whole life and never had a problem with this Pizza Hut. But these past couples of years, they must have gotten a new manager. First bad impression was when I took my family to dine in. The workers were fighting, and yelling back in forth from the kitchen to the dinning room. Then three employee's were leaning on the counter in front of the cash register, talking about customers. The second time I ordered for a pick up, and when getting home we began to eat 2 out of the 4 pizzas, about half way through the pizza slices everyone noticed that the upper portion of the slices was not fully cooked and the dough was still sticky. I called to have my order fixed and they tried saying it didn't cook fully because I had to many toppings. When I explained I only had pepperoni, then they began to give me attitude and said the only way they would replace my order if i returned all four pizzas untouched. When I told them that slices had already been bitten they refused to do anything. Poor...
