I had never given a bad review of any place even if they deserved it, but today, this will be my first one ever.
I will never go to this restaurant again.
Today, I observed a front counter employee be rude to multiple customers asking for their orders after witing for a while for their orders and after I waited for about 45 minutes for my order, which I had already brought to their attention. I sat calmly and paitenly waiting for it. On my last attempt, this one employee decided to give me an attitude and excuses on why I had to wait for my order again, because there was no mild chicken to fulfill my order. I observed during that time how other customers would get their 2 PC orders with the mild chicken over and over again. After the employee continued to have a discussion with me on why the order was not available, I called for the manager which was hearing everything. I asked the Manager why he allowed employees to treat customers that way and why he did not get involved earlier. The Manager played the card that he could not hear anything of what was going on and gave an excuse that he did not know what his employees were doing with the orders. The manager was worthless and it reflected with this one employee. He allowed his employee(s) to treat customers with the worst customer service I have ever seen. They offered to cancel the order and give me my money back or wait, but never offered an apology.
By the way, the employee with the attitude told me that I had overpaid (by twice) by ordering the 12 pc box instead of the Tuesday special which I was never told at time of order placement. By now, I just wanted my order, so I could take it to my wife and kid. I did not care that I had overpaid.
The 3 breast that were supposed to be part of the order were never found and were replaced with tights or legs. No extra pieces to compensate for the difference in size.
There was one employee there that I would praise and would have love to thank. He was going to make everything right because he understood the customer's frustration and keept his calm at all times, until the other employee would get involved with his attitude and lack of customer service. Read moreI waited in a long line in the drive-thru on my lunch break, approximately 20 minutes before reaching the window, which I was fine with, due to the current storm that was happening. I understand that people want to get out of their cars and get soaked while trying to get their foods ( the winds were really high, it was hailing, and raining very hard). When I get to the window, I paid and the lady asked me to pull forward. I declined advising her that I did not wish to get soaked by opening my window in the uncovered parking lot during the crazy storm. Another lady came and asked, I declined again, giving the same explaination. She said the other cars are ready and yours is not. I still declined. Then a gentleman, in a blue button up came to the window, demanding that I pull up since my food was not ready. I again declined dating that I don't want to get soaked so I would wait for my food at the window. After all, I'm ordering the current LTO which from my understanding she be available on hand, anyway since I only asked for the 3 piece. I'm sure the mashed potatoes side was ready so I assume that I was holding in the tenders. Not one was this relayed to me. No one gave me an approximate hold time and again, I was on my lunch break. Anyway the man in the blue shirt proceeds to tell me either pull up or get a refund. By now it's been an additional 4-5 minutes and by then they could've made the tenders and handed them out the window. So I waited my whole lunch break for food only to be told that I either have to go back to work completely soaked or have no lunch at all. I've loved Popeye's all my life. It's always been my favorite fast food place since I was 3 yrs old and now 30 years later I receive the absolute worst customer service that I have received in my life from ANYWHERE. Three people standing all bunched up in the drive-thru window giving me dirty looks made me feel seriously uncomfortable so when the man said, "gimme your card", I gave it to him and had to go without any lunch at all since I was in their drive-thru the entire duration of my lunch period. I will never go back to this Popeyes again. I submitted my complaint to corporate hoping to at least get a call from the manager...
Read moreIf I could give a zero star I would. Worst Popeyes drive through experience I’ve ever had. I was having a good day yesterday afternoon (10/10/23) between 2-4pm and saw Popeyes had something new on their menu, the sweet and spicy chicken and I really wanted to try it so I pulled up at this location. I’ve never met a more rude employee in my life. I pull in and when I tell you I didn’t say a word, as usual I was waiting for the employee to ask for what I would like to order. I was surprised when this lady (an African American lady, I did not catch her name) very rudely said “pull up to the window.” Confused, I pulled up to the window to which this employee comes up and literally says “what do you want?” in a tone shall I add. Bamboozled I still very calmly tried to explain to this lady that I haven’t placed my order yet and obviously can’t place it if I can’t see the menu. To which she said “well I couldn’t hear you”. Again, remember I literally didn’t say a word when I pulled to the driveway. The minute I pulled in all I heard was “pull up to the window” and so I did. Anyways trying to explain this to her she cuts me short and says “well drive around and place your order again”, slams her window and walks away. This whole time I’m confused as to why she acted that way and wondering if I did something wrong. I didn’t bother placing my order and took my business elsewhere. I usually don’t care leaving a review but I was too shocked at this experience to not mention anything. Honestly as a customer take your business elsewhere and don’t go to this location if you don’t want to be treated like trash. I deeply empathize with service workers cuz sometimes it might be stressful but I in no way deserve that type of treatment.
