The wait to be sat was only 15 minutes, but the food took the longest it had ever taken. We've had everything on the menu before, so we went in knowing exactly what we all wanted and placed our entire order about 10 minutes after we were sat.
Our 2 appetizers came out almost an hour in, and our dinners took an additional hour to come out. If it weren't for our server bringing us biscuits to hold everyone over, we would have left. In hindsight, we should have.
The appetizers were great, but somehow, we managed to receive our entrees on hot plates with cold & luke warm food on them. My filet mignon (ordered medium) was flattened, overcooked, and almost fully cooled, my lobster tail was slightly warm, the rice was already cold, the fish was warm-ish and also overcooked on both the other entrees, and the kids chicken tenders were already cooled and a little hard (they ended up just eating the fries).
There weren't many people there, and I can normally understand issues with being understaffed, but this was not expected at all. It was beyond the norm, specifically for this location. We were shocked but still hungry enough to just make the best of it at that point since we had the whole family there and settled.
We did try to politely & discreetly explain to the server about the food, but we could all see she was already stressed out and starting to panic. When we asked her if it was possible to fix this situation, she wasn't able to give a straight answer, nor was she willing to try or find a solution. The most we got from her was, "It's was brought out when it was done. I don't know what you want me to do. " She looked on the verge of a full-blown panic attack.
Neither one of us knew what to say or do about her at that moment. I felt bad for her, but the last thing we needed during our family dinner was to have someone have a mental breakdown in front of my kids, who were already a little freaked out by her in that brief interaction. So again, we decided to let it go, and just made an effort to eat was was edible, and leave as soon as possible.
This was truly the worst and most uncomfortable experience that I've ever had at any restaurant. I myself work in food service, and I've never even seen anything close to this experience we had. It was scary and kind of insane to me. I'm still shocked just typing this out.
This was one of our favorite restaurants to go to with our family, but after this experience... it is now going to be more of a place we'd only go to if we have no other choice. If we ever go back to Red Lobster, it's not going to be this location. That was too much and not worth the money we spent at all.
P.S.~ If you want a nice seafood diner, maybe come here if the wait is too long at other places. Just make sure you have at least 2 1/2 hours to spare, and a strong mental fortitude to handle any insanity that comes your...

So my husband and I decided to go to red lobster I have been craving it for a long time and I waited four days to go, it’s my favorite place and I was excited, well here is were it goes totally wrong
We were greeted and everything was fine we were sat down and we did have our waitress approaches the table she seem pretty young but not friendly at all,
I placed my order for a Chardonnay 9 ounce, my husband place his order for his ice tea and our two salads, She said that she will put the order in and bring our biscuits??? Well the biscuits never came but she did bring out only one salad and just took off my husband waved her down and asked her where is the other salad , she made a funny face and said oh , I thought you wanted one and she left, At that time is when I yelled at her and said excuse me , where are the drinks ,you brought me one salad and nothing to drink, she said were backed up it’s going to be a minute, So then I asked her what about the ice tea ,she said we don’t have any were making some right now, So at this time we’re still waiting for drinks we have nothing to drink the salad never came We never received their delicious biscuits So we decided to get up and leave when she brings the ice tea and wine and slam the wine on the table As I’m getting up to leave I told her your service sucks, she said thank you very much bye!!!
I told my husband ,she was not going to ruin my experience let’s go to the one at Lacantera and let me tell you ,the difference there was totally different, we had a great experience Our waitress was friendly ,courteous, knowledgeable she took our order and brought my wine ,glass of water the ice tea ,the two salads and biscuits at the same time I cannot tell you how great the experience was there.
Spending over $90 nowadays it’s a lot of money so yes I do expect a great service ,not perfect but at least great The waitress at the first location definitely needs to know how to treat...
Read moreThis was an OK experience. It started off great, good server, appetizer was calamari and it was very good, biscuits were very good. Once the appetizer was dropped, we didn't have any utensils or napkins. 3 entrees were ordered. A burger was ordered without bacon, and it came with bacon....no big deal, we took it off. Alfredo was ordered, and it was not fresh. The sauce was splitting, and it was crusted over on top. This was fixed quickly by the manager. The last order was a 1.25lb lobster. It was ok, but the cooking request was steamed, and it was boiled. It was also not drained, which is basic 101 cooking on boiled lobster. This created a soupy mess on the dinner plate. It was not overly busy, and I hate to critique cooking, but small mistakes make for a pricey dinner to not be great. I was also not given lobster utensils to start opening up the shell. We may be looking for a new location.
Edit: 4/30/23. We gave this place one last try. We came in at 430pm on a Sunday. The restaraunt has 1/2 full at best. We waited for approximately 15 minutes without any host or employee at the podium. There was another couple waiting on a pickup order that said thier host said they were getting thier food and never came back. There altered multiple tables looking around waiting for service as well. Eventually a young lady came to the podium. The couple that was waiting on food asked her to seat us since we had been waiting. She asked me if I was a part of another party and I said no. I told her we had been waiting for someone to come and greet us, her response was "well, I'm here now". I told her no thanks, we were leaving. Management is failing at this location and it appears to be an ongoing problem. We understand short staffing but on our last visit our server was apologizing for a new manager as well. We will be sending this through corporate as well to help get training directed where it...
