I recently saw someone mention this restaurant. I was looking for somewhere new to try, and ended up here. The outside of the building was decorated with hand painted cherry blossom trees, and a mountain sunset mural on the fence behind the building. I was immediately greeted at entry, my order was promptly taken, the cashier was very friendly and my food was out in a matter of maybe 6 minutes or so. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box. I asked the cashier if the portion of teriyaki on the regular plate was more, and he said the bento was the same portion, just with all the sides for an additional $3. It came with 2 pot stickers, 2 spring rolls, and 4 pieces of California roll, a side of steamed vegetables (carrots, cabbage, & broccoli). The item also listed coming with fried rice or noodles, I opted for the lo mein noodles. When my food came out it was plated in a to go bento box container, he attempted to snap the lid on top and it almost didnt close. It was divided with a small area for possible wasabi ect.. It was a decent size serving of lo mein, a good amount of teriyaki beef, and all the sides. There was no sauce other than the teriyaki on the meat, no dipping sauce for the pot stickers or spring rolls. yet I saw mention of "additional yum yum sauce" as a side item on the menu, but I didnt bother to ask if some was supposed to have come with the meal. The lo mein was pretty good, but I immediately found it a bit salty. After eating some of the beef, I considered that it was possibly the sauce that was salty, as both items were piled, and semi-salty. The teriyaki beef had good flavor, was decently tender, cooked until the edges of the sauce had started to brown and glaze over on the meat. The vegetables were steamed nicely, the noodles with just the right amount of vegetables to flavor them, and a nice golden color. The California roll pieces were decent, probably the plainest item of the meal, the spring rolls decent as well, but could have been improved by some type of sauce. Last up was the pot stickers, which were actually one of the better items of my bento box. They were crisp, had lots of flavor, and were cooked just right, but again I would have liked some sauce with them. I finished the entire meal, and left absolutely full. I dont think I could have held another spring roll. So other than the salt content of the lo mein/teriyaki, and the lack of sauce, the only other criticism would be that the menu said the bento box included fried rice or lo mein, yet I was charged an extra $1.50 for the lo mein. The menu made no mention of an upcharge for the item. Service was good, portions were good, pricing was fair for the amount of food received, and honestly it was on the better side of the hibachi's I've had.. Maybe not top 5, but not at the end of the list, somewhere in the middle. Total for the bento box, lo mein (upcharge) and large drink was about $17. Price: 9/10 Portions: 9.5/10 Service: 9.2/10 Variety: 8.5/10 Flavor: 9/10

My family and I came here about a week ago. They were friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived. Inside, you can order at the counter or at a self-serve kiosk for your to-go order. The menu was easy to understand- with prices clearly listed. The food was a good value and was delicious. My kids, who are particular about their sushi, shrimp and dumplings were really happy with their food and wanted to come back right away. My husband and I had the tofu and chicken hibachi, and they were so good that we ordered more to-go. The tofu was definitely my favorite, and the fried rice was a good texture and had a toasty sesame flavor. The building seems to be wheelchair accessible, with a small ramp to the right of the entrance. They have free refills, there are highchairs for little ones, and everything was clean and comfortable. Most of our food isn't pictured because we ate it too quickly. We're happy to have these options here in the Southside. We will definitely be back!

This place definitely was not bad, but I don’t feel like it’s real hibachi or should even be considered it. I included a picture in the window to show you what they have listed as a picture of the vegetables. However, their vegetables in the food for the hibachi are really like mainly just cabbage, the chicken, and the beef, which is their closest thing to steak. They are both made like the flat, thin kind. I did think their cups were the best I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. They’re huge. The customer service was amazing, so there are no complaints there. The restaurant was also clean. It’s just the food to me. I can’t classify it as hibachi food. I almost counted it as a better 2.0 version of the Asian plates you get in the mall. I personally wouldn’t go back just because it’s not my typical hibachi.

Not sure why but I decided to get some to go from here and had mixed emotions about coming. Let me tell you something the people here know how to make a delicious meal. 1st of all for the quality of food and the little traffic that around the time I picked it up was surprisingly low. I am hoping that those reading this review will give it a chance from here I am saying i recommend it with that being said let me explain why. The food quality and quantity is very delicious people sleep on good places like this then wonder where the good food here you go if your wondering will it fill me up try the bento of your choosing am not thin guy at all so I can eat a lot of food and I feel full but not like am gonna but I am happy with the amount I received. Next the environment as you can see I got take out I didn't really look around but what I will say it's open friendly and ready to serve a lot of ambient light I respect that. If your wondering how to order call them up look them up and order online they had my food ready to go as soon as I stepped in the only thing that took long is saying my name had bag in hand waiting to verify who I was just awesome service. Next overall experience was fast delicious and priced very fairly for the quality and quantity and friendly encounters were very respectful. For the owner or person in charge or comments I want to say thank you for so much delicious food and friendly service I look forward to coming back since my go to location closed your location is on my map for more visits. Please express my deepest gratitude if possible to all employees this has been one of the best...
