Yesterday, I was at Walmart off DeZavala & IH-10 and this BBQ trailer was there selling their BBQ. First all you people out there my "Review" will be lengthy can I was blown by this BBQ!! I purchased a total of (6) 2-meat plates with different choices of meats with rice & beans. I have to say 5 star to your BBQ business, cause I'm one to try different BBQ's and I can actually say your BBQ hits a homerun and out of the park!! I don't know what your secret is on how tender & full off the bone your meats were, but it was awesome and well smoked too! The seasoning was great too, but a little too much for my personal taste, but that's just me, rice & beans were very delicious and had a very good taste. Your prices for the food you get is amazingly affordable cause $12 dollars for any choice of meat on a 2- meat plate you sure can't find or as delicious as your meats & plates and that also included "Pork Ribs" as a meat choice!! Other BBQ places charge by the choice of meat plate you choose out there and are not even worth the price you pay for! All the choices on my 2-meat plates the meat was cooked so awesomely and best part it was not dry, it was tender & juicy even after I bought the plates and (3) of them I saved for dinner and reheated them in the microwave that everything in the plate still had a delicious taste, so I regret that I didn't eat our plates as soon as I had bought them cause I'm sure the plate would of been even more "Amazing" in taste!! The only meat that was a little dry was the chicken but what can you expect from chicken when you smoke it, but needless to say it was so tender that who can cook & smoke chicken like. The only downfall was I didn't get any pickles or onions with my plates, so I'm not if that was an option that I needed to request to have, but I at least still received bread, jalapeño and some BBQ sauce which in my opinion you should give more than just one small portion cause some of us like more that just a smear of BBQ sauce on their meat? Mr Elote is the guy!!!!! The thing I loved about this BBQ food truck spot is it is BBQ meets Mexican food. The meat is not insanely sauced so you actually get to see/taste what his meat is doing. I had the 4 meat plate with rice, Jalapeno Mac and Cheese, and Beans. The Mac and Cheese is very good. But the star of the show for me was the Sausage. I even had to double dip and get a taco. But not just any taco... I got a sausage taco and put the jalapeno Mac N Cheese on it. He looked at me kinda of strange but he was glad to do it. I wanted to eat here a few weeks ago. But the wife was ready to go. So I told him I will be back. I am glad I came back.
