Rocky's Taco House — Restaurant in San Antonio

I love to eat them in menudo from this place and most of the time I am okay with it, but it seems lately they have new workers or cooks or both that don't care about customer service The people that used to be there before waiters waitresses and cooks were way caring and understanding that when something is wrong it's wrong. So it's a Sunday majority of the time menudo is the best thing to eat on a Sunday, but like I said I've always liked it from Rockies but today I get a cup full of grease and what they call menudo inside my cup I called the restaurant to let them know that I work in Stone Oak and had somebody pick it up because it is the only place that I like to eat menudo other than my own so I had someone pick some up from there and bring it to me and what I got was a cup full of grease so much so that everything I touched or I put it near was Greasy the bag it came in was greasy I do know that there's a little bit of grease on there but there is actually nothing in here to consider eating without having a heart attack because it was all grease The waitress or whoever answered the phone when I called to complain put me on hold spoke to someone and came back and told me that there's nothing they can do I asked to speak to a manager and she told me that wouldn't make a difference because it's up to the cooks not to the manager I wasn't even allowed to talk to a manager I have been going to Rocky's Taco House since I was 9 years old My family my parents my grandparents were always taking me there and that is where I'm used to eating my menudo but to get treated like it doesn't matter like our loyalty doesn't play a factor in anything is wrong Mom and Pop restaurants are closing all over town there is so many to choose from to treat people the way y'all do is wrong won't be surprised if later on y'all get shut down too so if you want to eat a bowl full of grease go ahead and go there If not I would start looking for other locations to go to somewhere maybe customers matter. I would upload a picture of this disgusting thing they called food but there's no way to do that on this review but believe me I will You don't treat loyal...

Ever since they put in a Drive-Thru window this location has gone downhill very quickly. I used to eat here daily, if not twice a day, but now I cant imagine giving them any more of my hard earned money. First, the cheese on my tacos suddenly had a really weird taste and texture one morning a few months back. Seemed to me almost like they were using cheese whiz instead of the standard shredded cheese. I don't know if this is still the case, as I've stopped trying. Also: I've tried to go through the drive through multiple times but they never answer the drive thru speaker -- literally...never. There have been cars in the drive thru often and I've seen them get served, so the fact that they ignore me EVERY TIME is incredibly rude and had happened numerous times. Due to this, I've never actually gotten food using the drive thru method. I would try to call in an order on my way home and their phone would ring for 7-8 minutes straight. I would actually arrive at the restaurant, "expecting" my phone order to be ready for pickup...but it hasn't even been placed yet because I can see the waitresses through the window, are all doing nothing, while ignoring the ringing phone. I would order the same thing every day, every visit, and on every visit the total would vary by 10 cents to 60 cents, depending on who was ringing me up -- like they just change the prices for things as they choose. Also, their website shows a menu that's lists prices at a lower amount, then when you place a phone order and get there, your total is way more than you expected.

Just all around poor customer service, unconstitutional monetary practices, & food with inconsistent tastes. Very disappointing how bad it's gotten...

You got to love Rockies they're kind of proud of their food it is good though but the kind of a little bit expensive if you ask me like $3 for it but it is good and it is open 24 hours you can't beat that I got free parking open late night I got security to watch a vehicle I got a handicap accessible I don't know about going in though it seems like a Christmas character so I'm not sure how accessible to door is but I'm sure somebody help you get in there if you're in a wheelchair you got to love Rocky they're kind of proud of their food it is good though but the kind of a little bit expensive if you ask me like $3 for a chronic it's either and cheese but it is good and it is open 24 hours you can't beat that so I got free parking open late night they cut security to watch a vehicle he got a handicap Cecil I don't know about going in though it seems like it's some stairs there so I'm not sure how accessible is the door is but I'm sure somebody to help you get in there if you want to wheelchair good food alright looking waitresses always a lot of people in their good atmosphere kid friendly I don't know if they serve alcohol but restroom was a fairly clean hot sauce is good chips are good homie tortillas or good enchiladas a good either got a good lunch special and I recommended it's good can't go wrong was Rockies tacos then again my name is Rock so you know I'm going to be a little car...
