This location is all over the spectrum with food quality and accuracy. Sometimes, everything's right and food is fresh. Other times, they get multiple things wrong (ie. you order and pay for items that are missing; tomatoes are on everything you've asked them to leave off; you ask for extra beef, cheese, etc. which you pay more for, but aren't added) and/or food is cold/items aren't fresh. Unfortunately, you can't always tell til you get home and most people don't wanna go right back up there because they're hungry and the other food items would get cold by time you get back. And what about people who can't drive and have used a delivery service? Taco Bell isn't gonna make your order right immediately and pay a delivery service to bring it to you for free.
Their remedy is to replace only the missing/incorrect items but that offer it expires in like 5 or 7 days (however they don't tell you up front. So unless you wanna eat there twice in a week, you'll never get your replaced items. And if you order food for family, you only get the items they mess up. So you're inconvenienced to go some other time, just for a few items they messed up, not a complete meal....and who wants to tell their kids why Robert gets a taco, Mom a chalupa, and they get nothing. So now you have to order items on top of thise owed for everyone to have enough to eat. In essence, you are forced to spend more money when THEY MESSED UP! That's not a remedy for the inconvenience they caused, and it's more money for them because you're either gonna go back another night and order additional items OR you're not gonna ever make it up there in time for replacements and they've made money off you for something you never end up receiving. Even if you order through delivery service or Taco Bell app, they're only gonna credit you amount for those items that can only be applied to a future order from them. You don't just get your money back.
Ordering for delivery is a horror itself. Some delivery service apps don't allow certain customizations, or don't even have all menu items listed. If you use Taco Bell app, you can customize and all items are listed, but you don't know which service/driver you'll get. Driver doesn't always care if food gets delivered cold, if items get crushed, or if they're spilling out inside bags, due to food being thrown around from their driving.
Last but not least, ordering from Taco Bell app for pick up is absolutely pointless. They don't prepare the order til you get there. Even though you order and pay in full on app, they don't even begin preparing it until you physically get there. That's not pickup order, you're simply telling an app what you want, instead of saying it to a person. It provides no extra convenience. You may as well just order when you go.
All these things are extremely frustrating and could be easily remedied if they would make a few simple changes in how they do things and get rid of employees who consistently get...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I ordered nachos supreme with Doritos chips instead of regular chips (along with other items) at 9:41pm today, October 22, 2016. The restaurant was not super busy, there were four employees total that I saw and many orders before us were entirely wrong and took very long to come out (wish we had noticed this before we ordered). 15 minutes later I got the order and this portion was wrong. I immediately went back and asked for a correction. The employees were friendly and said they would have the corrected order out. 20 minutes later and still no nachos, so I go back to the counter, the employee at the front counter who was the same employee that took my order dismisses me with his hand and says "They're working on it". I accept the reply, though I shouldn't have and go back to wait. Another 10 minutes pass and finally my Dad goes with me to the front counter to ask for the manager and where the nachos are. The front counter employee who took my order then comes and claims he is the manager, he is obviously not as we can see the manager walking behind him and then admits to being a shift lead moments later. The manager comes 5 minutes later and asks what the problem is, my dad replies that we have been waiting for 45 minutes for nachos and while she looks at the receipt, he mentions that he doesn't appreciate being lied to by her employees claiming to be the manager. She then, very rudely may I add, replies "Well he is a manager, he's a shift lead." I'd like to acknowledge that while yes a shift lead is the lowest level manager we asked for THE manager, there is clearly a distinction. My dad then asked for the corporate number and for her full name. Loaded with attitude she motioned with her hand to her name tag and said "It's right there, you can read it" and walked off. Clearly she did not care about her customer service and needless to say we will NEVER be returning to this location and I hope that there is a way for her to get fired by looking up the manager who was clocked in during this time because I am not sure that the name on her name tag is hers since the first name was scratched out. If I could give 0/5 I would do it! UPDATE: My mom called the store the following morning and she spoke to another manager who was very apologetic and willing to replace the order for us.This manager also said that the name tag she was wearing was not her actual name and this would be taken care of....
Read moreSo after long day at work. I place my order thru app. Notice an mistake on my part for a box combo. Let the person at the speaker know if they can please fix it. Drove up and get it. Stopped in the lot just to make sure if they got everything and notice they removed all the veggies from the entire order. Went to head inside so they could remendy. But to my luck they locked the lobby just prior. I waved an Associate down to help me. She stood at the door and told me to go thru the drive thru. Head back to my car and found out i locked myself and head back to door just to see if they can just to see if they could just redo in the meantime but the associate just was rude about it and said it wasn't her problem and i would still would need to go thru the drive thru still. (I live a couple blocks away, just figured i could get my food, then walk to get my spare key no problem) but saw i wasn't going to get any assistance like i did something causing a problem. Left the food underneath my car then ran back to my apartment and then went back to restaurant. Kinda frustrated about this whole thing at this point. Come back, get the food, get in my car, go thru the drive thru, explain the situation to supervisor or someone like that. They offered to replace only the wrong items. After explaining the whole situation. At this point, i just asked for the associate first name and figured i would speak with customer service or corporate at this point. Didn't yell anyone or cuss but i guess that's what I get for just trying to get help. Thank you, Emariah (if that's the associate real name) at this point i feel like they lied to me at that...
