Decent place, friendly staff and tables were clean. We dined later (close to 8pm) and there were still selections out for bread and butter, but what surprised me was that the selections didn't appear the freshest, and portions were ridiculously small; this might have been an off day though because this is not what Bill Miller's is known for. Considering the dine-in closes at 9, it's common for most locations to sell extra portions and desserts at discounted prices to cut back on waste; we didn't get heaping portions or even normal sized portions-this was very odd. To be fair, we frequent so many BM locations that we're probably just spoiled by staff offering buckets of tea or pies or brownies closer to 9 that it cought us off guard to get skimpy sides when there was still so much 'on the line' still. Counter lady was very sweet and had a calm demeanor but she was easily distracted and forgot what she was doing thrice, including items for a to-go order. I think the staff is still super friendly and this is one of the cleanest locations in town, the skimpy portions of one day will not stop future visits ;)

We stopped to get drinks. We were in line for 10 prior to getting to the window. Then we were told by the rude young girl that we needed to circle back around and get in line because we didn't properly order. She never turn to even look at us just decide to talk facing the registrar. When we told her all we need was 4 drinks she rolled her eyes and said we needed to leave her window as she "REAL ORDERS" to give customers and we can pull to the front and come inside. My husband asked her if she can speak to her manager bit she insisted to tell him to move. I had to tell her we were not moving unless we spoke to her manager for her to slam the window shut and take another 2 minutes for someone to tell us he would go outside to take our order. This person took another 2 minutes for him to come over to take our drink order. At the end we order 3 Arnold Palmers and a coffee. We got 3 drinks that we could not even drink! I have been living in SA for 7 years and never had such a bad experience at any of there restaurants.

Myeh. A few days ago my brother & I went to this location, bought 3 " meals." Ordered 2 Poor Boy Sandwiches, a pint of rice & a 4 pc chicken dinner with fries. My brother is Still raving about how wonderful the chicken was - moist, not greasy. However. The pint of "Mexican Rice" was overcooked & tasted o l d. The 2 poor boys with beef, well, it's a failed experiment in false advertising. Poppy seed buns? Not advertised, I hate poppy seeds - & it is 1/2 the length they they should be. The beef was so dry -see photos - it had no taste, disgusting. Bread-roll was squashed flat on the bottom in the bag. Save your money, don't eat here. 6 yrs ago I went to a Bill Millers & ordered the same poor boy - it was memorably delicious- now, they no longer have taste. It's as if the sliced beef had sat in a tray in a low oven for several days, before someone remembered to serve it. Tasteless. A great disappointment for an expensive meal for 3.

Grabbed a dozen tamales from Bill Miller's this afternoon. Still hot when we got home. The good ole drive-thru included a 7 inch link of sausage with my order and some sauce as well. Wonder whose order that was shorted from? I decided to try these tamales dry and unadulterated to be able to really taste the product. Normally, I would at least apply a healthy dose of either green or red hot salsa. The first tamal I had was just a little bit dry though there was still enough pork lube there to feel its present on the lips. The flavor of both the masa and meat was good though the meat was a bit skimpy. The second tamal was not as dry and slightly larger than the first with a greater meat to masa ratio. In comparison to Delicious, Tellez, etc., I would estimate that they are probably some 10% smaller. The jury is out on whether they are hand or machine made. The meat appeared finely ground and possibly extruded, but the irregularities in size, consistency, and meat content would lead one to believe they are hand made. I suppose it is some combination of both (hand and machine made).. As I expected, they are not the best, but neither are they the worst. I would definitely buy them again if the situation dictated convenience...

GABE in the drive thru is an issue and seems to have issues. I’ve come to this location a few times now and unfortunately have to encounter the rude male employee in the window. I believe his name tag said GABE. He’s the rude, sassy, and has an attitude every single time for no reason. He seems like he hates people and hates his job even more. Very miserable and obviously, an unhappy individual. My receipt says “GABRIEL B A” so I’m guessing it’s Gabriel or Gabe. He snatched my card out of my hand on one occasion, rolls his eyes at customers, and as a customer I should not be the one, and only one saying thank you. He just closes the window on you, after the sassy eye roll of course. I’m not sure who hired him or how he conducted himself during the hiring process, but I do not understand why anyone would hire him or put him in the drive thru, or any position with human interaction. I wouldn’t even hire him to clean my business. Poor attitude. Very unprofessional and embarrassing. Cant imagine how he will conduct himself if he ever matures and finds a career. If you don’t like your job or people, why are you working in customer service? We do not want to deal with you as much as you don’t want to work your...

The food is above average typical chain bar-b-q. However, they are consistent on flavor in everyone I have visited. This was a one off experience. Pull up to line for drive thru, wait the expected 30 minutes to get to window, nice young lady took my card, charged me for food, then asked me to "pull around front" they were out of chopped bar-b-q... seemed strange to be out of the staple of your business, but hey, covid and all, new normal... so I proceed to front of building... watch about 10 cars go thru window and leave, with food in bags. After about 15 minutes, I go inside to inquire where my food is... the nice young gentleman at the counter says, "Oh, we were getting ready to carry that out to you" then asked a young lady if that bag was my order, told her I had walked in to get it, then hands me a bag of lukewarm chopped beef sandwiches... So in short, I waited in line for the drive thru window, (expected) for 30 minutes, to go to forgotten lot out front, so i could wait in the parking lot for another 15 minutes, to be able to walk into the dining, which I didn't want to in the first place, (as exemplified by getting in the long line waiting for the drive thru) to get...
