The food was AMAZING. Really, really good. And great price. I got a big plate of food, including beans, salad, and two large pork tamales, for just 5 bucks.

The staff was very nice, though some of them only speak spanish, so it's best if you have some familiarity with the language.

The facilities, especially the bathrooms, were quite clean, and in good repair. Way cleaner and nicer than the airbnb we originally booked nearby.

Now, BE ADVISED, the area around the restaurant is a bit rough. We are from Chicago, so when I say rough, I mean it. Not the worst by any stretch, but also not super nice either.

BUT, the clientelle we saw at the restaurant was fine. A few families, couples, seniors. Pleasant folks there for the food. Definitely not the rough and tumble crowd. But, I would definitely avoid going on any long night strolls down the street after dinner.

All of that said, the food and the value more than made up for it. If we had a car, we would head back for sure (we were visiting from out of town.)

The place also has an amazing jute box, with some of the best sound quality I have ever heard in a restaurant sound system. We thought there was a live mariachi band in the restaurant for a minute.

Tl;dr great food, nice staff, good crowd, just be careful in the confines around...

I always go to this place as a last resort because they take forever whether it’s inside dining or it’s drive-through. I was just there in drive thru. I was one of two people who were in the drive-through. I literally sat there, while the girl at the window laughed And talked with The customer in front of me for about 8 to 10 minutes. Then, when they finally moved, I pulled up to the window window and sat there for another nine minutes. I ordered one thing. That’s it. I wasted my 30 minute lunch. And never received my food. This happens every single time I go to this restaurant I wait anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes before I get my food. This is ridiculous. Do better. The sad part is when I called to complain about this the girl who answered the phone, laughed, and said I should...

I had high hopes with the reviews I had read. They obviously had a way different experience than my family did. The migas plate was cold and didn't taste very good. The bean and cheese taco also came out cold. I got homemade corn tortillas and they were not only bland, they tasted more like those hard nasty tortillas at the grocery store. My youngest had a chicken fajita which wasn't cooked so the way. My oldest son had the pancake plate and wasn't cooked correctly. We couldn't get refills on our coffee to save our life and there certainly wasn't any service with a smile as described by someone else. We were very polite the entire time and our children were well mannered the entire time. We certainly won't be back. The service...

This is a proper taqueria. Food options with images on the menu makes for a wonderful experience. I know what everything is, but for those who don't, this makes the experience very accessible. Chips are fried tortillas, salsa is authentic. Authentic food. Tasty meats. Great cheese. Beef is fantastic. I had the #32, or a burrito filled with carne and grilled onions and cheese. Really good, really filling, exactly what I was looking for. Wife couldn't finish her plate and took half for left overs! Pricing is very affordable. Service is sufficient, staff is very friendly. Pay at the window when you're done, not at your table.

Not a great experience. Waitress was fun and friendly. But not good at what was important. Had to repeatedly ask for the same things. Ask others to get stuff that she had forgotten. And then just to get the initial order. And I had to ask her if he was ready to take our order three times. And when I told her I wanted no onions with my lobster, all it was was covered in onions. She asked why I didn't eat it. I told her I did not want onions. And she said, sorry, and that was it didn't take it off the bill or anything, and I only took one bite out of it.

Best waitress and service. Food was excellent top tier Mexican cuisine. You will not be dissatisfied! Ignore the idiots giving less that 5 stars. They are used to Taco Bell and are obviously lacking the knowledge of REAL Mexican food! And no I am not a shill to admonish losers who negatively post to offset; I wish to review for ppl to judge the quality by sitting down and accepting the the smell, taste, and old Mexico food. Hope you visit.
