Everytime I come here it is such a delight. I went through the drive-thru the other day and ordered a 10 piece for my family and I. I was helped by Mrs.Garcia whom is a manager. She was very polite and respectful over the intercom. The woman did not speak at a rapid pace like some other establishments convincing me to be just another number. She persuaded my feelings on an emotional level. Like I was genuinely welcomed and much more. I was convinced I was important. I was having a stressful day until I interacted with the lady. She was all smiles chuckles and laughs as well as jokes. The type of person I would like to be recognized as her spirit is alive! Ive seen the vast majority of people who come to "work" just for a check, but not her. She cares about that store. She is really bubbly and served us hot fresh crunchy chicken. The grease was still sizzling HOT when I rushed to take a bite in my vehicle. The chicken was drained properly. The fries were fluffy and held their shape as well as drained properly and salted to perfection. Pickle and onions were tasty. Tea was sweet which was complimentary to the entire experience. When she asked "how are you doing today?" I responded and she did not small talk like most fast food businesses she multi-tasked and conversated appropriately. The time that it took to get my food and pull over by the marquee to get a bite was decent. The store was very busy, but Mrs.Garcia was determined calling out orders with her team actively responding obediently. Which shows their is mutual respect for one another. There is passion in her eyes. People like this in my opinion need to have a spotlight on them as their work contributes to the positive construction of the economy on a phenomenal degree. Not many recieve that and it should happen more frequently. She is working with purpose behind her and I seen felt and acknowledge that. The store is always clean when I have gone in at other times. Restrooms are clean. Never any arguing amongst the employees. Parking lot is clean and free of all trash. Walk up sidewalk of the building is clean. Haven't seen any dust on fans in dining room. Point of sales don't have flour all on them like other businesses. Floor isn't sticky. Windows free of all hand prints and cleaned. Tables spaced perfectly and conviently ready for you to sit down. No debri on chairs. Baseboards clean. Carpets clean. No Flys. No dead insects laying along the walls. I can see behind the counters and everything was clean AND sanitary. Trash free as well as organized. There is order structure discipline, positive ethics at this Bill Millers BBQ store. Their line is eye-catching and mouth watering as their food on the line does not look old but the complete opposite. When I go for a refill I don't have to wait, and the people at the registers are always nice about it. The nozzles from the soda fountain are clean from my perspective. They don't look neglected like other places. Everything on the Island is stocked and ready. The dining and parking lot are both lighted properly. Pumpkin pie is always great and I will be going today to get my quart of soup! It's seasonal I think but well worth the wait! Oh God. The rice. YUM! This store has exceeded more than expectations for my family and I. I was determined to write this review especially considering how my day was going to how it ended. I was also determined to write this because ive been to many different businesses and the majority of them do NOT know how to do what this store does. Thats all we talk about is Bill Millers BBQ ha This was a review long overdue. Thank you Mrs.Garcia and the Bill Millers Team! We look forward to returning hungry for more!
P.S?! I have to say, the manager Mrs.Garcia needs a raise! With passion and purpose present? You want or should cherish her as she motivated my thoughts and earned my time to write this review. I hope this reaches corporate! This store goes all out for the community we should go all out for the company! Hence the review!😀

Read moreOkay so we stop in this place for lunch on September 4, 2016 as we pass through San Antonio...they've got a dozen locations and are popular so should be decent, right?
We get some chopped brisket sandwiches and fries. The rolls are stale, the brisket is at least 40% grease, and I've never seen fries so soggy...but it's $7 for two sandwiches, it's about what I paid for. So why one star?
Poop. That's why one star.
Some chubby dude (I was waiting in line behind him to wash my hands) goes in and I guess he went off just before he manage to get his butt on the seat...and it's everywhere. It's on the seat. The outside of the bowl. The flush handle. The walls. The floor. I have to send my son into the women's with the missus to wash his hands and I make due with sanitary wipes because the men's room is unusable.
It's life. It happens. The staff has no control over the bowels of their customers. HOWEVER...when a member of the staff checked the bathroom out he came out and discussed it with who I assume was a manager sitting at a table with another employee and a guest. They laughed loudly, concurred that "it" was, in fact, "everywhere"...and then decided that they wouldn't do anything about it. They would wait for another employee to come in later that day and have him clean it up. This was quite amusing among those three Bill Miller employees.
At that point, what little of the food we COULD stomach we had to push away. That kind of dereliction will not be isolated to an incident in the bathroom. The kind of people who will put off cleaning up that mess will also be the kind of people who will ignore rules and create unsanitary and dangerous conditions in the storage and preparation of their food.
This is a facility that prepares and serves food to the public. There is no room for short cuts. Employees who think it's appropriate to wait "until later" to push off unsavory tasks on other employees instead of seeing to them being done correctly, immediately, is the strongest indicator of a facility needing new management I have...
Read moreDespite the fact that I always get incorrect orders and calling to a manager to let her/him know about their mistakes, I continue going. This store is close to my home. It's totally annoying when you got home and find out your order is not what you paid for. Still, I NEVER went back for a refund or for the correct order. Today, they didn't disappoint me. They made a mistake again! But, this time. I went back. Fish day sounds good after a long day at work and no counting the wait for my order. Well, I got 2 fish sandwiches instead 2 plates $ 24.00. I repeated 3 times my order. It was my mistake not checking it before driving home. I guess is because I was rushing and do not want to hold the line. I called the store, I asked for the manager. Her name Ms Olivares. I told her what happened and advise her, I will be at the store and ask for her. I did! After her unprofessional and poor costumer service, I understood why that service. When I asked for her, the lady at the front went to tell her I was there looking for her. She came back, and wanted to change my order. I told her I was there to see Ms. Oliverez and I wanted to talk to her. Well, she made me wait, walking around and ignored the fact a customer was waiting. I got enough and I asked the lady in the register for my refund. Finally, the "manager" asked me what was wrong with my order. I told her, read the receipt and look inside the bag. Again she asked me what was wrong. I told her, the order is totally wrong! I asked for a plate and I got sandwiches. Did I heard an " I'm sorry"? No! But, that was my last visit. NEVER AGAIN. I prefer to go to another location. Worth the drive. ps. Bill Miller's needs to be better with management. I got the...
