We love our local Eastside bar! Do not leave there without ordering a Hackberry Express. Thank me later. Also, the nachos are simple but perfect like from your childhood latch key days, and the sliders are addicting. Beer on tap is always cold and perfect. The team is always on it, attentive, but also cool af. I'll say this about the crowd there, if you're a make America great again kind of person, this 100% is not the place for you. You're welcome to go, but you won't like it, which is one of the MANY reasons why I love it. This place feels like home with the theater kids, misfits, nerds, artists, creatives, musicians, and local folk who make our city a better place. They also just opened a coffee shop on the property and I can't wait to try it soon. There's an outdoor area and indoor area. It's dog friendly, as long as you have them on a leash. It's LGBTQIA+ friendly and if you're a "we are the weirdos mister" kinda vibe, this is your spot. Most of the time, it's all ages, which we love...
Read moreDefinitely overrated as a restaurant. I can't say how they fare as a bar since we got our order to go. The food is extremely overpriced!!! Their pizza is smaller than one slice from Capo's or Goodfellas and at $13 is a total ripoff. The serving of greens that they call a salad tasted like bitter weeds and was inedible. We also got their queso with brisket....I don't know what we got, but it definitely WASN'T queso. It had the consistency of cottage cheese and never melted (we tried both a pan and microwave). The Wagyu Beef guisada cheese steak sandwich had less meat than any carne guisada taco elsewhere in town. It was also way overpriced at $13. This was by far the most overrated, overpriced establishment I've been to as long as I can remember. I can't recommend to anyone. I guess if they have cheap alcohol and you've overindulged, then they might have some appeal. No thanks! Needless to say we won't be giving them a...
Read moreThis restaurant was a strange experience because of many reasons. The food to start off. I got the burger, pepperoni, pizza, wings, and mac & cheese. The burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had the chips that came with it were good too. The mac & cheese was also one of the best I’ve ever tried as well. Unfortunately the wings were the worst I’ve ever tried. I’m not sure how they cook it, but I just don’t think it’s my preferred style. The pizza was just a normal little pizza nothing to complain about. Just wish they came with ranch. The service was my only complaint here as the man at the register gave me some attitude when my college first got there. I understand 30 hungry students isn’t the best thing to see but overall I understand as I work in the food business too. So I’m not deducting points for it at all. In the end our college loved this place and would go back...
