S B Wings — Restaurant in San Benito

The second we walked in we were greeted by the owner. He sat us and started a small conversation and found out it was our first time at the restaurant. He insisted that we try the lemon love pie dessert as it was a favorite. We politely declined because we were currently eating a low carb diet. Instead, we ordered lettuce wrapped burgers and a salad instead of fries along with some buffalo wings.

The food was great and our waiter was very attentive. Before we could finish our meal, the owner came by and presented us with a gift certificate for the next time we visited so that we could try the dessert if we were off of our diet. Customer service wasnt great. Food was ok but waitress was no great. Not once did they check to see if i needed a refill or nothing. Adviced em that it was about 15 mins or more that i was waiting for someone to bring me a refill and my check but nothing. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that they would come but WRONG... No one did. Was told they were busy. So the hell with me. Ask for a manager and none were to be found. Asked when they would be available and was told maybe tomorrow. Ask for the waitress name and said in a cocky tone "you can give it to em" in a way where it was like they aint gonna do nothing your just another customer with a complaint. I believe they might not do nothing since its a mom and pop shop but i will give them the benefit...

Ordered desserts through door dash and I was going to pick up my to go order. SB Wings called to tell me they didn't have the desserts that I ordered. I assumed that they cancelled the order through door dash as the order could not be fulfilled. Nope. Door dash said the order was marked complete. I was charged for the order. Neither door dash or SB Wings would refund my money or even offer to fulfill the order. Lesson learned. Never again will I visit...
