Good place to play pool but. If ownership doesnt get a grip on his employees, he'll be out of business in no time. Servers drinking on the job with customers and the door person let at least four different people out the front door with their drinks. I'm surprised they're still in business....
UPDATE..... I will never go again under current management unless they get rid of their tiny Hispanic waitress. I could not get a drink because she was too busy hanging out and drinking with other customers. She would only get them drinks. Everyone else had to stop what they were doing and go to the bar themselves. Not completely terrible to have to do that but that is her job, not drinking with customers. Also, I am thinking about contacting beverage control on this place. Everybody, get your fix before BC shuts them down.
You're going out of business pool club.....lol
Unfair accusations? If you're going to continue to make excuses for your employees then I'm definitely calling the beverage board. Specifics? Her name is Serena. She drinks with the customers when she's on duty. She was drinking with Tom and Gene and some other guys at the pool table by the jukebox. She does it all the time. Who cares what time or day it was. I love your place and I'm happy that you've been around for 25+ years but you need to pay attention to what your staff is doing. I am now calling ABC and naming Serena to them for investigation.....
Why you so...
Read moreSo I came to this bar 12/29/24. I walked in and asked the bartender if the pool tables were free. She informed me it's $15 an hour I just have to pay on the other side and show my ID. I went to show my ID and pay for pool but because I shaved my facial hair she claimed the person in my ID photo wasn't me. So I asked how is that not me? She replied it doesn't look like you and started asking me what my name was. I told her I gave you my ID my name is on the ID and gave her my birth year. She ended up kicking me out for no reason. When I tried to go back in and get a second opinion she immediately saw me and told me to leave. So I just put a smile on my face and walked out without saying anything. So I just went to a Mexican bar where the pool tables were free. They took a look at my ID and said you shaved your facial hair. I said yeah and I just got kicked out of a bar because of that and then they showed me the pool tables. Security even walked up to me and said I rack you break. So to the Karen who kicked me out I ain't mad at cha. Just next time I decide to come back have security check ID'S at the door so I can just play pool. If they had security on site checking ID'S I'm positive I wouldn't have gone through...
Read moreFrom first site, pool club grabbed my attention based off their logo and the intention to please those who play pool. However, this place does nothing but grant their customer a "let down." It blows my mind that Pool Club charges $15/hr for their tables, regardless of the size, and allows their customers to be treated like dirt. Places, like Danny K's in Orange County (who charges 12/hr for an ACTUAL 9 foot table and $10/hr for 8ft DIAMONDS) and Gators (who charges a mere $5/hr for their VALLEYS) to be disregarded. Not to mention, GRIFFS, located in Vegas, charges $10/hr for their 9ft DIAMNODS!!! wouldn't dare compare with these guys because of GRIFFS would SMASH these guys due to their environment and service. No wonder this place was empty when I walked in?? Ladies/Gentlemen, if you're looking for a place to play pool, practice/critique your innovative shots, and have your money go far, this place is NOT WHERE TO GO. I support local business/staff, however, the place will speak for itself.
Pool Club, I wish you the best. May opportunity come your way. However, it won't because of the monstrous prices and unfairness to those who wish...
