Boba Monkey — Restaurant in San Diego

I’ve been wanting to try this place for weeks. Went earlier today while the worker was in a break. When he returned, he failed to let us know of the heavy iron door being pushed outward and he hit me on my shoulder very hard. Worst of all, the impact hit my 18 month son who was in my arms in the face, causing him a bloody nose. He cried for hours after this. The worker showed little care or remorse. If anything, he appeared very annoyed at us and confirmed he knew we were close to the iron gate prior to him opening it. This place is so amazing! They have super cool and unique drinks as well as all the well known and loved flavors. I was a little indecisive but le was so helpful. I told her what flavors I liked and she gave me options that I would like the best. And she was so right! I got the sea salt cheese foam coffee with boba and crystal boba. My husband got the matcha coffee and we both loved our orders. The boba was so fresh. The shop has a bunch of Instagram-able artwork and it’s just a really cool place. Located next to McDonald, this lot is super tight so be careful as you turn in to park. Boba Babe is at the corner next door to Banh Mi Babe.

I wanted to try the Mochi Waffle but it was all crossed out on the menu. I got the Lavender Taro Milk Tea and Boba Babe Milk Tea.
