Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in San Diego

I am not jumping on the bad review band wagon, but yes my meal here could of been better.

I had a couple of chicken tacos a la carte. It was disappointing that they do not offer soft corn tortillas, not just the white flour tortillas. In the end, I had to go with the hard corn shells. The tacos were about $3.50 each because the total came to $7 and some change.

The tacos were okay. The chicken was not consistent. Some piece were over cooked and dry and other were tender enough. I was not please that they served or cracked one of the tortillas shells as they were making the tacos, which is easily visible on one of my photos. Since one of the halves was already cracked down the side, I had to eat the tacos with a fork.

The red salsa they put on the tacos was good but very spicy, so be careful. The corn salad was good, too, but I did not put any pico because it looked old in the display. I told them that they should replace it with fresher pico.

The service was good. It was friendly and upbeat, but they do need to clean more often. Many of the tables had food stains and trash on them. I cleaned the table myself before I sat down to eat. One of the employees walked past me as I cleaned, but did not offer to help or clean the other tables. You would think they would clean up after each patron. I pretty sure that is how it works at...

My husband & I recently started going to this location when school started at grossmont. The first time I had asked for limes and the girl said they only had whole uncut limes, I asked her if it was possible to get one cut she said no. I moved on didnt think about it. The past two times I went this older lady im assuming her name is Koral by my receipt has been the one making the food, she is SUPER SKIMPY with the portions. I have told her I dont mind oaying extra because I like my chipotle. She LITERALLY doesn't even give you whole scoops and when you ask for double scoops she gives you half scoops to equal one and charges you as double. Like be for freaking real. My husband who never ever complains about anything even brought it up. What needs to be done or said to get what we ask for. AGAIN, I dont mind paying extra ,chipotle even encourages us to ask for extra. Who do I have to talk to about this? Im not trying to be a Karen but literally, I pay for my food, I should ATLEAST be getting what I pay for the other locations in santee & el cajon have not...

When we arrived, there was only one person helping everyone while another waited at the register instead of helping make orders. Took us at least 15 minutes before we began to order while 4 people were ahead of us to order, should NOT have taken 15 minutes to help 4 people. When it came to ordering they had mostly everything in stock except for pico and lettuce, instead of asking us to wait or offering to get more the worker said they were out, and once she was done with our order she magically went to go get more tubs of lettuce and pico. Service was horrible. I like to keep from writing disparaging reviews but when it’s a larger company like chipotle they themselves have set the standards. Overall, very displeased...
