Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in San Diego

DON'T TRY TO GO HERE IF YOU ARE A CIVILIAN I was trying to take my girlfriend to get some ice cream so I typed "Cold Stone" into google maps and this was the closest one. We followed the directions and quickly realized we must have made a "wrong turn" when there was a guard post with naval officers standing outside. We explained that we must have made a wrong turn, and we were just trying to get ice cream (we didn't realize the cold stone was on base). Next thing you know, they are calling in their radios for "possible narcotics" and made us stop there for 15 minutes. They called over like 4-5 more officers and questioned us for a few minutes before letting us go. They said they smelled marijuana (never used any drug in my life) and told me if I just admitted to having it then I wouldn't get charged with a federal offense. After a few more minutes of questioning they let us turn around. We didn't end up getting any Cold...

This place has horrible customer service. I was waiting for a very long time at the register to order a shake and they were taking care of the other customers first. I asked where the line is and the lady with long hair stated that the line is where the ice cream is. They kept looking at me while serving other people instead of letting me know. This is my first time at this ice cream place and I did not see the line. The customers are just all over the place. Ive seen this place before here and the employees are 🤮 Observe how the employees work on and handle your ice cream. Well, ice cream is also food, so observe how they act in front of those ice cream when there is a customer or no customer. Basic sanitation is VERY important. I would give a 0 star if I could. I come to this location every week. EVERY single week with a friend. It’s a place we go to de stress. Well typically I interact with Karen and she is amazing. Today I interacted with Adrian and he was anything but that. I had a BOGO and on the website it did not show that it had to be the exact same item . I got one signature like it and one normal like it Ice cream. My friend used a bogo and we got the same exact items. It was as Simple as changing her ice cream which was cheeper to what my ice cream was. He did not do that. He was rude & unprofessional. Said he was the manager but I met the manager before and it was not here. I asked his name and he said “ Adrian it’s right here on my hat” in a rude attitude.
