Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

Unfortunately we have had multiple bad experiences from this location. We live on the base and have waited more than an hour after the driver “left the store” (mere blocks away) to get the order and then the pizza is cold....we have often gotten wrong orders or had missing items , and frankly not great customer service either. Everyone deserves a second chance but in this case this is about the fourth time something like this has happened at this location so we felt led to leave a review.

update june 2021 The same things continue to happen. Items left out of our order, ended up taking an hour and a half to get to us even though they marked it “delivered” 45 minutes before it actually got here! I know they get busy, but hire more people! Double check your orders. This is ridiculous.

update February 2022 It’s almost comical now. You might be thinking, “why do these people continue ordering from them if they get everything wrong? “Because unfortunately living on the this base there are no other options for delivery since Uber or other services cannot get on here. So when we are in a desperate pinch it’s either this or nothing! Once again have received wrong orders, orders with toppings missing, multiple items missing or cold, sometimes takes up to two hours, the list goes on. I ordered, via online, delivery of pizza, salad, and water. Upon arrival the dressing I picked online was not the one I picked. Then the drink, a bottle of water, was not delivered. The driver stated he would bring it back as he forgot it. This domino's being located on a Marine base I assume they have Marines or military dependants working for them. With that said I figured it was an honest mistake and the driver will make good by it. He never kept to his word on returning to delivery my water which I had paid for. Not only is that theft on a Federal Military property, but the employee lied to a customer's face blatantly. I know for a fact the driver has to and is responsible for getting the drinks and salad dressings. To me that tells me he does not value the business he works for as he did not read the drinks I ordered nor the salad dressing. That also shows me he does not value military members as he lied to ones face. I gave him the benefit of the doubt to come back at almost any hour... He did not after saying he would. Very disappointing that a company would allow its employees and itself to steal from military members.

This place would have gotten zero stars, but we had to give this place one star because of the unwelcoming atmosphere and no service. We arrived here, and we were not welcomed. The entrance was locked despite being open, and they prefer delivery and expect a tip. We had to wait for a deliveryman to help us open the door. The deliveryman even said that it was a good idea to leave the door open. When we got inside, no one was waiting to take our order, and there was no way of alerting the workers that we were ready. One person went to the front counter but went to the back once we were ready to order. They never spoke a word once we came in. It's like they would rather not talk to their customers. We had to walk out because of this. Why is this place still open in a military facility when they are only getting...
